Sanemi Shinazugawa (不死しなず川がわ 実さね弥み Shinazugawa Sanemi?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Wind Hashira (風かぜ柱ばしら Kaze Bashira?).[2]

Kagaya Ubuyashiki (産うぶ屋や敷しき 耀かが哉や Ubuyashiki Kagaya?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps[2] known mainly as Oyakata-sama (お館󠄃やかた樣さま? lit. "Master") by his subordinates and peers and is also the head of the Ubuyashiki Family.[3][4

Tanjiro Kamado (竈門かまど 炭たん治じ郎ろう Kamado Tanjirō?) is the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps, who joined to find a remedy to turn his sister, Nezuko Kamado, back into a human and to hunt down and kill demons,[5] and later swore to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji,[6] the King of Demons, in order to prevent others from suffering the same fate as him.[7]

Kanao Tsuyuri (栗つ花ゆ落り カナヲ Tsuyuri Kanao?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu Kocho's Tsuguko and the adopted sister of Shinobu and Kanae Kocho.

Yoriichi Tsugikuni (継つぎ国くに 縁より壱いち Tsugikuni Yoriichi?) is a major recurring character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer who lived nearly 500 years ago during the Sengoku era.[2] He was the most powerful Demon Slayer to have ever existed.

He is also the inventor of Breathing Styles, being the one who created the first ever Breathing Style, Sun Breathing, that would eventually become the Hinokami Kagura used by Tanjiro Kamado and members of the Kamado Family.

Nezuko Kamado (竈門かまど 禰ね豆ず子こ Kamado Nezuko?) is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon and the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. Formerly a human, she was attacked and transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji.

Shinobu Kocho is also the younger sister of Kanae Kocho along with her adoptive younger sister Kanao Tsuyuri. After a demon killed her parents, Shinobu joined the Demon Slayer Corps along with her sister in order to protect others from suffering the same fate as her.

Aoi Kanzaki (神かん崎ざき アオイ Kanzaki Aoi?) is a supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps. However, she works as a helper at the Butterfly Mansion, rather than taking to the front lines and fighting demons.

Mitsuri Kanroji (甘かん露ろ寺じ 蜜みつ璃り Kanroji Mitsuri?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Love Hashira (恋こい柱ばしら Koi Bashira?).[5]

Kanae Kocho (胡こ蝶ちょう カナエ Kochō Kanae?) was a Demon Slayer and the late Flower Hashira (花はな柱ばしら Hana Bashira?). She is the biological older sister of Shinobu Kocho and the adoptive older sister of Kanao Tsuyuri.

She was slain several years prior to the present story by Upper Rank Two, Doma.

Akaza (猗あ窩か座ざ Akaza?) is a major supporting antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a demon affiliated with the Twelve Kizuki, holding the position of Upper Rank Three (上じょう弦げんの参さん Jōgen no San?).[3]

Over a century ago, Akaza was a human by the name of Hakuji (狛はく治じ Hakuji?)[4], a prodigious martial artist who trained under Keizo[5] while nursing his daughter, Koyuki,[6] who would later become Akaza's fiancée.

The Swamp Demon (沼ぬま鬼おに Numa Oni?) was the main antagonist of the Kidnapper's Bog Arc. He was a demon that went on a rash of kidnappings during Tanjiro Kamado's first mission for the Demon Slayer Corps.
