Xiao is an Elbaite Gem with a mohs scale of 7.5. He can easily be broken when being struck by something.

His friend was stolen and broken by the Lunarians and brought him to the moon, causing Xiao to hate the Lunarians and avoid being friends with other gems to avoid losing them like he lost his friend. He doesn't want anybody to be stolen away like his friend so he protects them from afar. He looks for his friend's gem pieces after defeating a Lunarian but finds nothing.
