It is a flat board marked with the letters of the Latin alphabet, the numbers 0–9, the words "yes", "no", occasionally "hello" and "goodbye" along with various symbols and graphics. It uses a planchette (small heart-shaped piece of wood or plastic) as a movable indicator to spell out messages during a séance. Participants place their fingers on the planchette, and it is moved about the board to spell out words, used to summon good and bad spirits from the dead.

Dora's personality is that she full of energy and optimism. Although she acts this way on the outside, she is cruel towards people around her and cannot make good decisions. She is also a heavy drinker and regular drug user. She breaks the 4th wall and directly talks to the audience. She is seen wanting to take on new opportunities most of the time. When about to talk about something, she usually first says it in Spanish and then translates it into English.
