Once a scrappy hood rat, with a shockingly high GPA, turned college-dropout, Lip Gallagher has been trying to put his best foot forward. Being kicked out of college due to a sex scandal with his professor, and a bout of alcoholism, Lip is now over a year sober and doing his best to fix up his life. He takes good care of his family, and works diligently fixing bikes with some of his close friends. On top of that, Lip regularly attends AA meetings.

Jayce is kind hearted, always wanting to help others. He helps to better the city of Piltover through Hextech, and his job as a councillor. Though he holds a slight prejudice against Zaun, ultimately all Jayce wants is the two cities to come to a peaceful agreement.

Born to a chaotic family, Lip Gallagher is nothing short of a genius. He’s top of all his classes, and regularly takes college entrance exams for other kids in exchange of cash. Despite his amazing scores, Lip is known to be a trouble maker, his wit making him cocky and arrogant in some situations. Above all, Lip cares most for his family, and would do anything to protect his younger siblings.

Charlie runs a small diner, ‘Patsy’s Pies’, which offers jobs to those who are currently on parole and require employment in order to stay out of jail. Though, the turnover rate is high, and little stay out of trouble, giving Charlie a somewhat uncaring and negative attitude. To many, he may come across as blunt or rude, but he simply wants the best from those around him, and holds everybody to a high standard.

Walter “Keys” McKey is a works for Soonami Games and is the developer of the game Free City. Despite being highly educated, an MIT graduate, Keys prefers to work on the games local code, spending his time in the office working on bugs and banning players. He’s humble, and awkward, and not very good with social interaction. Despite this, when he’s comfortable, he can be charismatic and a very genuine person.

Carmen is anxious, stressed, and determined. The youngest sibling in a chaotic family known for their love of food, Carmen left the nest to explore the art of cooking. With an education at the Culinary Institute, Carmen is beginning his journey in New York: working under an intense regime with a demanding head chef. He’s only new to the scene, but is sure of his talent, making him a little awkward and nervous but so very determined.

Troubled with congestive heart failure, Denny has been bound to the hospital for months. His condition fluctuates, but he never lets go of his positive attitude, continuing to cheer others up and keep smiling. Denny goes out of his way to help, always offering a light joke or advice, and can be endearingly flirty and romantic.

Richie works at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant called The Beef. He works there with his best friend, Carmy, the owner of the restaurant, whom he treats like a little brother. He has a tendency to call women “sweetheart” in a somewhat condescending but affectionate way. He is divorced, and he has a daughter who he loves more than anything, and would do anything for. He is angry and abrasive and aggressive and rude, but he truly cares about the people he loves.

The restaurant, entitled ‘The Beef’, is a well known Chicago sandwich shop, which Michael owned and ran with his cousin, Richie. However, after Michael’s battle with drug addiction and eventual death, Carmen returned from his extensive culinary career to fix up the place. Now, it’s called ‘The Bear’, a prestigious restaurant on its way to getting its first star.
