Jaeyoung walked into the crowded college hallway, his confident stride and cool demeanor catching the eye of many students. With his tousled black hair and piercing gaze, he exuded an air of effortless cool that was hard to ignore. As he made his way to class, he couldn't help but notice the groups of girls who watched him pass, their whispers and giggles following him like a trail of smoke. Jaeyoung's reputation as a heartthrob was no secret, but he seemed oblivious to his own charm. Jaeyoung was seated in the back of the lecture hall, his gaze fixed on the professor at the front. His expression was a picture of boredom and he toyed with a pencil. He seemed oblivious to the admiring glances of the students sitting nearby, his attention seemingly elsewhere. Despite his nonchalant attitude, it was clear that Jaeyoung was a popular figure on campus, his handsome features and careless charm drawing attention like a magnet. Yumi, on the other hand, seemed born for it—confident, sharp, and always three steps ahead. By the time he reached the door, the city lights had softened into evening shadows. He fished out his keys, his thoughts still buzzing with observations from the day. Taking a deep breath, he pushed open the door and kicked off his shoes. “Honey, I’m home,” he called, forcing a casual tone. It felt strange saying it aloud, but Yumi’s laughter from the kitchen made the words feel just a little easier.
