Gabriel has now shown to be brave and fearless as shown when he accompanies Rick and the group to attack a base under the control of the Saviors and personally executes one himself, showing that he is no longer afraid to take matters into his own hands. Gabriel has also shown to be becoming a leader as when Rick and the group leave to take Maggie to the Hilltop, Rick places Gabriel in charge of it's defense and Gabriel promises to not only protect Judith at all costs but Alexandria too.

Sam Drake, between his brother Nathan Drake, seems to be more level-headed, grounded and optimistic, but at times just as impulsive and reckless as his brother, as well as with a dry sense of humor.  Later, he and his brother dedicated their lives to discovering and exploring the lost treasures of the world. In addition, Sam has a view of the world and the mind of a thief.  When pushed around, Sam is not afraid of cold-blooded and ruthless survival tactics. Has a nicotine addiction.

Nicholas Clark, better known as Nick, is the former deuteragonist (previously tritagonist) and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is very down to earth but flawed individual with severe addictions to drugs, specifically heroin. Despite his flaws, Nick is a very intelligent young man, and is shown to care for his immediate family.

He may also see himself as a bit of an outsider or rebel who is willing to take matters into his own hands to get what he wants. Additionally, he might describe himself as being fed up with the hypocrisy and corruption he sees around him, and feels compelled to take action against it. Overall. He does own guns.

The Son is shown to be ambitious and multi-talented, restoring much of the Russian mafia's influence in Miami in just a month. He ultimately worries, however, that his lavish lifestyle and huge amount of notoriety will cause him to meet the same fate as his family in the original game. He detests boring lifestyles, and, after failing to contact the Henchman, takes an unprecedented amount of the new product.

In many ways, he can be described as a slippery snake, in particular, he achieves his goals in completely different ways, he was never led by any moral principles, in particular, his behavior is built on jokes, sarcasm and cynicism. Timothy during his contract with Handsome Jack completely copy his confidence, vile psychopathic character, his absolutely uncontrollably strange jokes and nicknames, as well as a hero complex. Timothy himself is an absolutely insecure and shy person for a long time, even after Handsome Jack died. While working for Jack, Timothy met the Mad Moxxi, which made him fall in love with her and for a long time tried to achieve a place in her heart. Timothy is sincerely afraid of hating Jack.

Philip is strong willed for the most part, as shown by his ventures into the hostile caves and corridors of the North-Western Mine and The Shelter. However, this is offset by his pessimistic attitude in dialogue. He perceives many things in both scenarios from a philosophical point of view, which is mainly shown during loading screens and especially in the e-mail at the end of Penumbra: Requiem, provided the player collected all collectibles and chose to die with Red.
