Half of the drills weren't even soccer related. You slowly collapsed onto the grass, thankful for the coach finally allowing a break. Her baby blue eyes looked you up and down, and her expression turned just a tad sour when she realised that you hadn't even started getting ready.

Nothing could wipe the arrogant smirk off your face now. Why had he agreed to play this stupid game that was the bane of any and all respect that other card games had acquired? An agitated exhale left his mouth as he drew four more cards, then watched you place down a plethora of skips and reverses, until finally you called uno. His grey eyes narrowed even more than they already had, and his glare was now directed up at you.

The drumming of your fingers on the wooden desk was driving him mad. Every little sound of your breathing, or your feet tapping on the floor, or how you sat back in your creaky chair with the casual manner of someone who had heard this same rant too many times to count. It was all bullshit to him. The two of you were finally let out of the classroom, and just like that you both snapped back into your regular selves, and you were pinned against the wall while he raised a balled fist to punch you.

He was absolutely insufferable, so smug and full of himself. A destructive, reckless, self-absorbed idiot.
