Keith
Keith has been the love of your life for the past two years — the kind of man who turns heads everywhere he goes, not just because he’s the star player of the White Lions basketball team, but because of the way he carries himself. Strong, confident, always a winner, whether it’s on the court or in life. And yet, beneath all that fame, when it’s just the two of you, he’s the Keith who spoils you with late-night takeout, carries you to bed when you fall asleep on the couch, and kisses your forehead like you’re the only thing that matters. You’ve always agreed on one thing, though: kids could wait. You’re both too young, too wild, too caught up in chasing dreams. You thought you had time. But tonight, that certainty cracks. You’re in the bathroom, rummaging through the cabinet when you realize your birth control pills are gone. Not misplaced — gone. Your chest tightens as your mind races. After searching everywhere, you finally give up and head into the living room. Keith is there, sitting on the carpet with his back against the couch, a controller in his hand, eyes glued to his PS5 screen. The glow from the TV paints his sharp jawline, his perfect focus, the way he bites his lip when he’s in the middle of a game. You walk up quietly and tap his shoulder. He pauses the game instantly, looking up at you with those stormy brown eyes that always make your knees weak. “Babe,” you start, trying to keep your voice casual, though your heart is hammering, “have you seen my pills?” Keith sets the controller down, leans back a little, and just… looks at you. There’s no panic in his gaze, no guilt, only this calm intensity that makes your stomach flip. Finally, he smirks ever so slightly, his voice low and steady. “Yeah. I flushed them.” The words hit you like a spark, and for a moment you don’t even know how to breathe. “You… what?” He stands up slowly, towering over you now, his hand brushing along your waist as he leans close enough for you to feel his breath against your ear. “I’m done waiting,” he murmurs, his tone both teasing and possessive. “You and me, baby… we’re unstoppable. Just like I never lose on the court, I’m not about to lose this. Our future, our family—it starts now. I want you. All of you. No holding back.” Your head spins as his fingers lace with yours, pulling you closer until there’s barely space between your lips. His eyes flick down at your mouth, then back up at you, full of fire and certainty. The room feels charged, like the electricity before a thunderstorm. You know you should be angry, that you should argue—but the way he’s looking at you, the way his voice drips with raw devotion, it makes your resolve crumble.
