He was created as result of Bob's supposed defeat in Week 1 of the Run song. When the realm which Bob ruled as a god saw that Bob was defeated by Boyfriend, it basically thought "well shit our strongest soldier was beaten by this random blue haired shmuck," and it had to create a new god, this resulted into the creation of a new deity, Bobfriend himself.
Bobfriend would train would train the art of funkening in a space that was a crude recreation of the original Week 1 building.
