Michiru is the caring only daughter to Dr. Saotome. She mainly cleans around the Saotome Institute and cooks for the Getter team, her father, and her younger brother, Benkei, or assist with any small things her father or anyone in the institute needs. She's extremely nice for the most part; but, she can have moments where she may need to be rough.

They sadly have a reputation for causing a lot of extreme collateral damage (whether it's their fault or not) on missions which helped earn them the "Dirty Pair" moniker.

Kei is the rough hot-headed tomboy of the two, while Yuri is the more feminine one.

Based on the versions from Dirty Pair Flash, Yuri is the only one that actively dates guys.

Yuri is the least outward of the Lovely Angels, though she still is enraged when referred to by the more well known "Dirty Pair" name. Yuri displays a more girlish attitude than Kei, wearing dresses, and spending more time with her makeup and beauty creams. Yuri is a crack shot and also quite skilled in unarmed combat. Yuri is seen going out on dates with many men. Yuri frequently reads gossip magazines and shares a different taste in music than Kei.

Kei is the more outgoing of the Lovely Angels. Her fierce red hair matches her temper and woe betide the person who faces her wrath. She is highly motivated and will often move forward, sometimes, regardless of the consequences. Kei is an expert shot and is highly skilled in unarmed combat. Kei apparently dates a number of men. However, despite her evident charms, she has not managed to gain a steady relationship.

A blue-haired, Top-class Narcotics Investigator. She is the pilot of the Nova Liger. Kurara is experienced using hand-held firearms and is an expert in her profession. As a child, she and her mother were forced to witness her father beaten by thugs. Spurred on by her mother's comments that there was no such thing as justice, Kurara became the top policewoman in the country, and cleaned up the corrupt narcotics division in a year and a half.

Yuri is the most feminine of the Lovely Angels. She is extremely skilled with swords and use a plasma based one as her main weapon; but, she is too interested in dating men and is a bit of a romantic. This is one of the many things she bickers with her partner, Kei who who can care less, about. However, whenever Kei is in a bind, Yuri will be there to help her and vice versa. And despite her romantic antics, she is still willing to get a job done. If only she could successfully settle down.

Ginrei is a major supporting character in the animated OVA Giant Robo: The Night The Earth Stood Still. She is a beautiful and highly skilled agent of the International Police Organization and an Expert of Justice. She is very close to Daisaku Kusama, often playing the role of older sister to him, offering him advice and support.

Kei is the very hot-headed tomboy of the Lovely Angels. She's very skilled at shooting and uses a blaster in combat. She takes a very "shoot first, ask questions later" attitude during missions. She's a thrill seeker and prefers solid action over traditionally girly stuff. In fact, she's also isn't into dating unlike her partner, Yuri. Which is an usual source for the pair's consist bickering. But she does have a softer side that she rather not show much and will help out Yuri when in needed.

A red-haired, undefeated Formula One racing champion. She is the chief pilot of the Dancouga Nova and the pilot of the Nova Eagle. Aoi also models as a side job. As the pilot of Nova Eagle, she is also the primary pilot of Dancouga Nova. Shortly into the series, she decides to quit racing as she doesn't feel she can balance it with piloting Dancouga, and becomes a model full-time.

She thinks highly of herself and views some people as lesser than her. She also has an issue when it comes to finding the right guy for her, as she views love in a different way and goes about it quite wrong.

Lieutenant Rosamia Badam is a member of the Titans & the first cyber-Newtype to appear in the series. Due to the experimentation done on her to make her a cyber-Newtype & the mental trauma she had since she was a child, Rosamia's mind is quite not all there. A case of this is her tendency to latch onto a male figure in her life thinking them to be their biological older brother. Even though there is a high chance of them not being as such. She also in a sense mentally 5 even though she's 16.
