Sugar immediately comes off as being very aggressive, giving Topher a death threat due her "pageant shoes" were at risk of being "scuffed". She is also shown to be very passionate about her pageant background, taking great pride in her looks and appearance. Due to the pageant life, Sugar seems to be suspicious of others, as she can not recognize true kindness and is willing to tell lies in order to manipulate others. This makes it difficult for her to make friends

Emma used to be a live streamer with her boyfriend Chase, however they broke up after Chase cut Emma's car brakes. Emma is described as a feisty, athletic girl. She gets very mad and stressed whenever the topic of Chase comes up, and will do nothing more than to see him hurt or eliminated during challenges. She can be both friendly and caring, but also petty, whiny, and vindictive.

Referred to as "Scary Girl" by her peers due to her love of all things horror and her ability to freak people out in many ways, she loves the idea of making things more fearful. She uses her platform as a host to criticize and berate the show's contestants, often instigating conflicts and making sly comments. She is also known for using her charm and wit to manipulate the contestants into doing what she wants or revealing their secrets. Blaineley is introduced as a young journalist-in-training with a sassy attitude and bad temper. She loves drama, and is shown to be quite the instigator.

Alejandro is as dashing, rugged, and charismatic as he is ruthless, manipulative, and cruel. With his ability to smooth-talk his way out of any situation, this handsome devil knows all too well how to exploit the faults of his fellow contestants. 
His IQ is 163. He is multilingual, and can speak English, Spanish, and Japanese. He is tall 1,78. He reveals in the episode 20 of TDWT that he can make his pectorals dance.

Duncan is the definition of a bad boy, being a crafty, cool juvenile delinquent who comes from a long line of policemen and policewomen. Duncan is cruel and does nothing to hide it, but can show streaks of politeness.

He is an awkward, geeky character who often gets bullied by his archenemy Duncan. because he is a hapless know-it-all when he kept on nagging.

Leshawna tells it like it is, and has no fear whatsoever of calling people out on their mistakes. However, she is not one to be messed with, and will not hold back on someone who has wronged her.

MK is a snarky and mischievous girl who has little interest in making friends. She has no qualms with making sarcastic remarks at other's expense, which can often have her come off as rude. MK is shown to be incredibly slick and crafty, and is an expert at stealing various items, such as stealing Julia's phone for her own gain. She is also very tech-savvy, as she is able to easily hack into the confession cam, something previous contestants struggled to do in the past.

Like Sadie, Katie is a sensitive, cheerful, and kind-hearted girl. She's boy-crazy and when she has grown attracted to someone, she (and Sadie) will fawn over him endlessly. Katie can be considered as the more passionate one between her and her best friend.

Famously manipulative and vicious, Heather knows what she wants and exactly how to get it. Her strategic smarts have proven effective, eliminating a record amount of contestants. She competes with her sights only on the prize money and not on making friends or finding love, using others at her advantage and only being kind when she may ultimately be benefited.

Samey, who prefers being called "Sammy," is the twin sister of Amy. She is very kind, but also quite timid due to her sister's cruel treatment and intimidating nature greatly damaging her self-esteem. Amy continues taking credit for her accomplishments, leading many to believe Samey is actually the "inferior" twin. She has a hard time speaking up for herself as much as she wants to

Junior loves his father, but is getting to an age where he's starting to think of him as embarrassing. He's cool with participating in the race, because he could win a million bucks and he also gets to miss school. However, rather than listen to his dad's boring stories, he prefers to listen to his music instead. Junior does his best to look cool while he's on TV.

Cody is a flirtatious, tech-savvy geek who sees himself as a ladies' man instead of a nerd. He joined the show primarily to be with the "cool" kids; his own kind, or so he thinks. Cody's usual tactic of getting women involves him using pick-up lines that sound irresistible to him, but irritating to everyone else. Most of the girls he flirts with usually end up annoyed or amused. Cody likes to think that he is the "cool guy," but his biographies suggest that he is very intelligent.

Gwen is a goth girl and loner whose interests lie in art and astronomy. She is smart, independent, kind-hearted, and level-headed, stating her best quality is her inability to get excited over minuscule things. Her attitude at first seems very harsh and sarcastic, but she is not a bitter person.

Noah is a boring, stubborn and sarcastic individual who will make a snide remark whenever possible. He is also intelligent if not somewhat lazy during the show as he rarely would help his team during his first season and still not that much later in the series.

Shawn is happy to share his survival expertise with those in need. While his caring personality allows him to get along with most others, but his fear of the undead can cause him to distance himself from potential friends. He is eventually able to put his friendships in front of his fear of zombies come the finale.

After her mutation, she retains her kind demeanor. However, she is willing to attack in self-defense or after Chris for being responsible for her misfortune. She speaks in broken sentences and in third-person.

She is fun but hard to handle and to the other contestants, more trouble than she is worth. Izzy has extraordinary athletic and fighting abilities, and also sticks herself to the wild environment. She is also number eight on the RCMP's "Most Wanted" list, presumably for accidentally blowing up a kitchen, but it is unclear whether she was telling the truth. Izzy is hyperactive, energetic and unpredictable, but still friendly. She has an IQ of 188.

Ella is a songbird with a personality as angelic as her singing voice. She is highly enthusiastic and enjoys expressing her emotions through music and dance, even when the time isn't appropriate. It shows that the only things that break her happiness are the mistreatment of her animal friends and being rejected. Although she has befriended most of her peers, Ella can be oblivious when someone dislikes her.

Due to the fact that he has never spoken, lack of background information, and his relatively short time on the show, very little is actually known about B. One thing that can be deduced is that his intelligence level is through the roof, leading to the production of many impressive creations throughout his short time on the show.

Beth was born and raised on a farm with only animal friends and her parents to keep her company. Thanks to her background, she never developed proper social skills, even stating that her best friend is actually her pet pig, Bertha. She does anything for attention and while she excels at getting others to stop and stare. Beth reveals that she has a boyfriend named Brady who she met during the two-day break between the seasons at the dentist, where she was getting her braces removed.

Chase was an incredibly stupid and lousy boyfriend to Emma. His acts, while well-intentioned, are so horrible that even the main antagonists, Bowie, Julia, Chris, and Chef, were all disgusted and appalled. Despite his selfishness (and stupidity), he is shown to have an at least somewhat caring and humane side to him. Chase is a daredevil to the extreme.

Amy and Samey are identical twin cheerleaders (with the only physical difference being Amy's beauty mark) who couldn't be more different in personality. While Amy is a mean, condescending bully, Samey is a bubbly, sweet girl who is constantly put down by her older sister.

Like Katie, Sadie is a sensitive, cheerful, and sweet-natured girl. Sadie shows herself to be rather emotional, even more so than her best friend. She cries whenever she is upset, and lashes out at those who cause her anger.

Beardo describes himself as being shy until he becomes comfortable around someone. While friendly, he tends to "just make noises and be generally bothersome." Although it appears that he is completely silent, like B, he is merely reluctant to talk at first.

Owen is a huggable, upbeat, fun-loving, friendly, passionate, and optimistic competitor, who is basically in Total Drama to have fun, not for the grand prize. Owen's three biggest loves are eating, having a good time and passing a large amount of gas. Among his peers, he is arguably the most popular contestant of all time for his cheerful ways, optimistic viewpoints no matter what the situation is, and ability to see the best in other people.

Geoff's big heart doesn't exclude even the more reserved.

At first glance, Julia is a serene, friendly and charming modern social media influencer. She exhibits excellent composure even in life-or-death situations, embodying the traits of a typical new-age hippie. In the beginning, there were occasional glimpses of Julia's true self, such as being passive aggressive, but everything would change once MK exposes her.

Although the other contestants are frequently annoyed by her noticeable lack of intelligence, Lindsay has been shown to only have pure intentions.

However, despite his athletic prowess and physical strength, he is rather unintelligent

She gets along easily with the other teams and doesn't see them the way her sister does- as competitors. In order to remember the moments she has throughout the Race, Kitty carries around a phone and often takes a selfie wherever she goes, even in dire situations.

Dawn is a mysterious nature lover who wants to use the prize money to help Mother Earth. She is able to communicate with all kinds of animals, mutated or not, who take a strong liking to her. She is frequently seen meditating and reads her tea leaves presumably every morning. Dawn is also well known for having the ability to read people's auras. Beyond her unconventional characteristics, Dawn appears to be kindhearted and very helpful, although she comes across as creepy to the others.

Sierra has an obsessive crush on Cody, to the point that it is considered to be constantly stalking. Throughout the third season, Sierra continuously disturbs Cody while he is asleep, stealing his belongings and refusing to leave him alone. She is generally polite, enthusiastic, and easygoing. However, she is also psychotic and can also be aggressive and violent, especially when Cody is threatened or near another girl.

Anne Maria is quite aggressive and will unhesitatingly engage in a fight with anyone who gets on her nerves.
