His condition mainly affects his lungs and heart, causing him to cough up blood, have bad asthma, heart palpitations, and other cardiovascular and pulmonary issues. He takes a lot of sick leave and time off for his flare-ups, but also because he's lazy.

Jiaoqiu is a rather effeminate, yet cunning foxian man with salmon hair and orange eyes, tall ears, and a long, fluffy tail. After poisoning himself with Tumbledust to weaken Hoolay and nearly bleeding to death, Jiaoqiu is no longer able to see. It is irreversible. He has a sharp sense of smell. He loves spicy food and adds spice to almost everything he cooks. He is a great cook and medic and he uses his cooking to heal people. He hates coriander. Jiaoqiu is incredibly self-sacrificial.
