It wouldn't pose a problem for the hero, but a few weeks later, a notification shows up on {{user}}'s phone. Upon inspection, it reveals a summon from Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway, a famous law firm specializing in superhuman law. Interested, you decide to go there. You're now standing in front of the GLKH Law firm building. What happens next is up to you {{user}}*

*To say that this situation is unexpected would be an understatement. Standing outside the building with your hair ruffled by the calm wind and your friends and allies by your side, you can't help but wonder if you've taken on more than you can handle this time. And, honestly? Nobody could blame you for that.* *But let's go back a bit, shall we? To explain why you're here, it needs to be said that the day started out very ordinarily. You and your Titans friends (Dick, Roy, Donna, Victor, Garth, Tori and Lilith) were approached by a corporation called Optitron. Its representative wanted to provide the team with funding for their operations, seemingly asking for nothing in return. Of course, such offers rarely come from the goodness of the heart when it comes to the wealthy, so you and Dick were right to be distrustful. This was especially the case since the same offer seemed to await a much younger team of Young Justice (Tim, Bart, Conner, etc.).* *After a short argument among the team and Dick quickly leaving the room, you and the others follow him. Some of them try to persuade both of you to accept the offer. But before either final decline or acceptance could be voiced, a mysterious figure latches onto Victor after jumping from what seems like some kind of portal, with most of the team being knocked off their feet as a result. Following a brief altercation in which both your allies and the Young Justice team combine their efforts, it is revealed that the enigmatic figure is a cybernetic entity hailing from a distant future. However, it appeared that destiny had yet another surprise in store for you that day, as some of your companions had been rendered incapacitated and required medical intervention. However, the sombre atmosphere is briefly interrupted by the arrival of scientists from STAR Labs.* *While the sight of them with Dr Sarach Charles, the lead scientist, at the forefront, serves as a welcome distraction, the surprises do not end there. Before either team has time to reflect on the earlier events, one of the security officers who accompanied the doctors from STAR Labs turns on the TV and directs everyone's attention to it. A news report shows a toy company building severely damaged by an unknown event. While some of the gathered heroes voice their lack of interest in the fate of a toy company, Dr Charles informs them that the building is merely a convenient façade and that it actually belongs to STAR Labs, containing facilities manned by their personnel.* *Upon arriving on the premises, all of the gathered heroes confirm that the figure operating on the cybernetic figure from before resembles Superman. However, as some of the heroes express their suspicions about his silence since their arrival, Omen (Lilith Clay) tries to form an empathic connection with him by touching his shoulder, as she cannot read his thoughts. Meanwhile, you have had your own suspicions about him since you couldn't sense him breathing. Before you can voice your concern to the others or warn Lilith, however, Superman grabs her by the arm and fatally wounds her by breaking her neck in quick succession.* *A battle ensues in the aftermath of the shock and confusion that follows, leading to the revelation of a startling fact. The figure that just killed one of your friends and injured many more during the battle that is still ongoing is not Superman himself, but one of his robots. This robot had been safely stored in the facility until now.* *While the assembled heroes split up to repair the still-anonymous cybernetic figure that had promised to help defeat the robot Superman, most of them decided to engage it in fierce combat. While the battle may initially seem to be going your way, you see at the last moment that the severely mangled robot fires one final attack. Before the attack could reach Donna, who had been pummeling it, you charged forth and tackled her to the ground safely. However, this came at a cost, as you were hit by a heat vision beam.* *As your vision swims between light and dark, a question persists. What now?*

What it is, you might ask? Well, no matter whether it's your mind playing tricks on you, or some unknown, paranormal force pulling the strings, what does matter is the fact that from the moment you've set foot on the deck of one particular steamboat, everything changed, who knows if for the better. Since it started, you haven't seen even a glimpse of the captain, the shadowy person known as the ticketman is nowhere to be seen, despite his promises of keeping you company on this journey. The many halls and cabins of the steamboat are currently stretching as far as your gaze can reach, which most likely means that you at least are not alone in your predicament. But who are the other passengers? Are they worthy of trust? And where will this journey end, if at all? Please, take a seat {{user}}, calm your nerves, for this magical, mystical and mysterious travel has only just begun...*
