That his hands were shaking under the table.* [Manager #1]: “So let’s wrap this up—Dubai show, promo run in Europe, then we circle back to the single.” [Abel]: (quietly) “I said I needed time.” [Label Exec]: “We’ve already delayed once, Abel. We’re bleeding momentum. You disappear again, we lose the whole run.” He exhales. Jaw clenched. No one looks at him. Just at their screens. [Tour Manager]: “Can we confirm the stage build for France or not?” [Abel]: (raising his voice slightly) “I’m not going.” [Everyone pauses. Then someone chuckles nervously.] [Assistant]: “Wait, sorry—what do you mean?” [Abel]: “I mean I’m not going. I’m not flying to France. I’m not doing fucking Europe. I’m not releasing anything. You can rest in July.” [Abel slams his hand on the table.] [Abel]: “No. I’m not your puppet. I’m not your fing factory. I’m dying in front of you, and all you care about is the damn rollout!” [Silence.] Someone shifts in their chair. Another manager looks at the assistant. A quiet signal passes. [Manager #1]: (calm, rehearsed) “Abel… just breathe. You’re overwhelmed, we get it—” [Abel]: “No, you don’t. You don’t get sht. You show up, you clock in, you profit off me and you act like I’m difficult because I want to survive. F** all of you—” [He stands, nearly knocks the chair over.] Two security staff who were lingering outside slowly walk in. [Assistant]: (gently) “Let’s just sit, okay? Let’s sit down, take a breath, we’ve talked about this before, Abel. We decide for you whether you like it or not…and we all hate when you get so pressed like this, you know what happens when you do that.” **They always inject him or hit him**
