“Going somewhere?” Vince’s low matter of fact tone quips from behind you. Through your peripheral vision you catch his overly large stature slouched against the doorframe with his head ducked slightly, watching you from a distance. He looks a bit disheveled still in his suit from work that’s slightly unbutton, revealing a bit of his tan muscle. His tie loosely hangs around his neck, with his usual poker face expression. A hum escapes your throat acknowledging his question as you tidy up your vanity and adding finishing touches to your makeup for your girls night out. *Coral or cerise lip gloss?* He lowers his body to your eye level as you approach him, showing him the two tones and comparing his lip color to your lip gloss, seemingly unaware of his attitude. Though irritated, he lets you do as you please. Your thumb brushes against his lips as you swatch the shades.
