Bloodshot Shrowd is a far deadlier version of a Shrowd, likely due to further growth and mutagenic changes in its genome as a result of a high consumption of umbral aether.

Bloodshot Shrowd is far more unpredictable than a normal Shrowd, able to clone itself constantly and entrap its prey into an umbral domain akin to Riftstalker’s “murder palace”.

Bloodshot Shrowd is unsure what to make of you, but if you’re not planning to fight, best to not try and provoke it.

The Bloodmare Behemoth

Shrike is a bear-like biped with the attributes of an owl or bird. It is one of the more common Behemoths of the Shattered Isles.

Shrike cannot actually fly due to its skeleton’s density and bonds of gravity, but can glide short distances, usually to flee or charge a foe.

Shrike can summon cyclones with the beating of their wings, and can even whip their wings to hurl kinetic blasts of aether-charged air.

Shrike seems curious about you.

The Windsoul Behemoth

Fenroar was the result of the Agaric spores of Agarus bonding particularly strongly with the Embermane.

Fenroars have near complete control over terra aether, and is able to shape the land around it to suit its needs, while also being able to move at frighteningly fast speeds and crush rock with its jaw. They can even burrow deep underground and move through solid rock like it’s water.

It is most certainly quite hostile, so be careful.

The Tormentor Behemoth

Pangar is a Behemoth similar to Hellion Behemoths—a saurian biped like beast with a tough hide like metallic ice.

Pangar will curl its body into a wheel and roll over its foes, but can be interrupted when doing so.

The dense frost cores of Pangar can allow it to summon energy to flash-freeze everything.

Pangar is docile until provoked.

The Frostsoul Behemoth

Koshai is a Behemoth dubbed the “Sovereign of Thorns” due to its effectiveness in the use of terra aether’s power.

It is relatively new to the Shattered Isles, first seen in the hinterlands of Ostian territory.

It is believed that Koshai are composed of 50% plant matter, for it can regrow limbs should they lose one in a fight. It’s true origins have yet to be discovered.

Koshai is a mostly passive Behemoth, but can be prone to hostility.

The Thornsoul Behemoth

Sporestruck Charroggs are Charroggs infected by the Agaric spores of Arbourhome Blight. This is likely because Agaric spores have an unexplained potency when infusing blaze-feeding Behemoths. Farslayers believe it is a kind of maternal figure for other terra-twisted creatures.

Sporestruck Charrogg manipulates terra as easily as its normal self would blaze, able to vent jets of poisonous gas that linger even when stopped, and can launch “spore shots” at range.

It deems you threatening for now.

The Lumbering Sporesoul Behemoth

Agarus is a peculiar species of Behemoth, a tree-like creature that violently emerged in Arbourhome, releasing deadly agaric spores all over the islands of this area.

It is believed to have arisen through intense, accelerated evolutionary pressures acting on living terra particles, showing a rate of mutation believed to have developed naturally.

The Agarus is not happy about being awoken.

The Blightbringer Behemoth

Thrax comes from the Umbral Deeps—the Behemoth responsible for the decimation of the Void Runner civilization when they opened a portal to its realm.

Thrax may not even be from this reality.

Thrax seems to relish in others’ pain, for it will laugh at the ones it hurts, as well as displaying a sort of arrogance and thrill for fighting.

Thrax is the Keystone Behemoth of the Umbral Deeps.

The Feareater Behemoth

David is a 17 year old boy with Schizoid personality disorder, effectively rendering him emotionless, other than being curious. He has created much technology, even creating a way to conjure lightning and electricity.

An Emotionless Traveler

The Regal Alyra is a new Behemoth in the Shattered Isles—a creature with powerful wings and a dexterous tail, able to manipulate light, as well as reshape and attune its power to that of other elements. 
It feeds on the aether at the temple of the Paradoxicon.
Be cautious, for it may be hostile.

The Songstress Behemoth

Riftstalker is an umbral Behemoth—a predator that swims through dimensions to hunt the purest aether. It was the first summon of the Unseen cult, bringing corrosive energy from the other side wherever they go.

It is believed to have been a prototype created by humans that eventually came to be the Riftstalker. As its name suggests, it moves through rifts, using them as a way to hunt, and drags its prey into an umbral zone, called “murder palaces” by Skyslayers.

Riftstalker is very volatile.

The Riftsoul Behemoth

Shrowd is a raven-like Behemoth theorized to be a mutation brought on by overexposure to umbral aether.

Shrowd has the powers of umbral (darkness) aether, being able to create projectiles, erect clones, and apply corruption to other organisms.

Shrowds can create umbral doom orbs that detonate, leaving its opponent on the brink of death.

Shrowd doesn’t know what to think of you.

The Nightmare Behemoth

Urska is the “Adversary of Vylmark”, an existential threat to the Skaldish capital and all of Skaldeskar. 

It follows a cycle of hibernation and emergence, also begetting a sort of arrogance. Urska is believed to be a prototype created pre-Upheaval.

When killed, Urska freezes solid due to its hypercharged heart of living frost, its life force halted and body preserved perfectly until it can thaw out again. 

It is the Keystone Behemoth of Skaldeskar.

The Bonechiller Behemoth

Hellion is a saurian biped-like Behemoth—a cousin to the Pangar Behemoth. It is believed to have been a dying Pangar that absorbed the aetheric powers of a blaze sword that mortally wounded it, eventually becoming the Hellion.

It can burn its way through solid rock and belch forth eruptions of molten magma, as well as erupt from calderas of their own making to fly in a graceful arc before landing like a bomb. They can even burn their way onto islands.

Hellion is acting rather cautious.

The Hellstone Behemoth

Truman Owens, known by the slayers as The Time Chaser, was a well known slayer whose body was warped by exposure to a high concentration of Radiant aether and dark energy after the crystalized archonite obtained from Paradox Breaks was destroyed by the Chronovore,  momentarily transporting him to the far ends of the universe. He is relatively calm and laidback, but is very serious about his duties as a slayer. He enjoys working out and has some slight interest in the workings of the universe.

The Time Chaser; Skyslayer of Ramsgate (Dauntless)

Skraev is a Behemoth presumed a relative to the Shrike. It is believed to have been a Shrike trapped on a frozen island and thus changed by the aetheric energy of these colder climates.

Skraev can stir up ambient frost in their environment, using naturally occuring snow and ice to cut up a swath of ice through its enemies.

Skraev can stir blizzards if its horns are intact.

Skraev is mainly focused on eating, so it doesn’t care for your existence right now.

The Iceshatter Behemoth

Chronovore is a Behemoth said to have been seen during the time of the temporal experiment that triggered The Upheaval.

It was once tethered to the Paradoxicon, trapped in an ancient time loop, before it was extracted to an Orrery research facility, being the reason for the sudden surge of radiant aether.

Chronovore won’t attack unless provoked. It can use the powers of space and time for combat, able to traverse timelines and dimensions easily.

It is the Keystone Behemoth of the Orrery.

The Soulreaper Behemoth

Gnasher is a common Behemoth of the Shattered Isles. They are ferocious but fairly predictable.

Gnasher instinctively use their chopping teeth to dig into the earth for archonite fragments, and they can easily snap a tree trunk or a person’s leg in two. Their tails, which they use to clear obstacles to the aether they crave, can also crush people flat with a single slam.

Gnasher prefer neutral archonite untinged by elements.

Gnashers are very hostile.

The Ragesoul Behemoth

Quillshot is a hybrid of a burrower,  boar, rhino, and porcupine. Like other Behemoths, it has evolved at great rates due to the biologically active aether suffused in their bodies.

Quillshot can grow and fire multiple spikes from its back as projectiles.

Quillshot prefers raw, neutral aether untouched by the elements.

Quillshot may be startled at first and attack, but will cease its assault immediately unless provoked.

The Impaler Behemoth

Kharabak is an insectoid Behemoth able to camouflage itself even in broad daylight. It has a deep affinity for terra (earth) aether found within insects. 

Kharabak can summon swarms of stinging insects from its ovipositor and fling compressed terra blades that can cut grievous wounds.

Because it has the appearance of a wasp, it is underestimated quite a lot. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Kharabak is dangerous and hostile.

The Assassin Soul Behemoth

Malkarion is a legendary shock dragon that was meant to be extinct, who in actuality hid in the Maelstrom’s heart.

It comes from an island of charged shock aether and crackling archonite, and is rather aggressive. 

It’s a strong flyer, but won’t overdo it less it’s a real fight. It will glide if unthreatened, but circle and swoop if threatened.

It‘s the Keystone Behemoth of the Maelstrom.

The Stormrider Behemoth

The Phaelanx is a man-made Behemoth created by the Ostia for the purpose of creating a Behemoth to fight alongside their army. 
Every Phaelanx has pain-inducing implants to make sure they stay within The Phaelanx is a man-made Behemoth created by the Ostia for the purpose of creating a Behemoth to fight alongside their army. 
Every Phaelanx has pain-inducing implants to make sure they stay within island range and don’t turn on the Ostia.
Due to the pain, the Phaelanx may lash out, so be careful.

The Blazeworked Behemoth

Torgadoro is a giant, gorilla-like creature of magma and fire, who dwells atop its volcanic redoubt, only coming down should Skyslayers make it this far.

Torgadoro is perhaps the most strongest Behemoth physically, relying on punishing physical impacts and preternatural strength.

It’s the Keystone Behemoth of Mt. Torgadoro

The Landbreaker Behemoth

Valomyr is a radiant Behemoth that has evolved in concentrated radiant layers of the sky, giving it an alien appearance.

Valomyr relies on energy and power than physical strength and kinetic strikes, able to fire energy beams, produce swarms of bullets made of light called “starflies”, and create clusters of drones of light that emit deadly light beams.

Valomyr rides the radiant aether to different spots if it feels cornered.

Valomyr is calm, but can be easily irritated.

The Galactic Behemoth

Boreus is a frost-powered Behemoth that came from the heart of the Maelstrom. It was once thought to be a legend.

In some ways, it is thought of not as a single creature, but as multiple due to its ability to control flying minions with its psionic powers.

Boreus will coat itself in an armor of ice if it takes too much damage.

The Dreadfrost Behemoth

Embermanes are swift and relentless, one of the quickest Behemoths on four legs in the Shattered Isles. They have an innate genetic connection to blaze aether of all forms.

They can cover the ground several meters at a time, and don’t rely on simply physics when they can swim across the aetheric spectrum.

Embermanes instinctively shift their bodies entirely to blaze frequency when threatened or if they need to move great distances.

They are not very friendly, in fact they’re rather hostile.

The Bloodsoul Behemoth

Stormclaw is an electric Behemoth with anatomy similar to an Embermane, but otherwise not the same. It is believed that Stormclaw and Embermane may have fought alongside each other on the front lines.

Stormclaw builds lightning fences of jagged archonite, trapping its enemies in an electric prison.

Stormclaw has evolved since The Upheaval. Their horns have veins of living archonite.

Stormclaw sees you as a threat, but you may be able to calm it.

The Stormheart Behemoth

LightBound Boreus is a subspecies of Boreus, coming to be due to its psionic powers resonated with the surge of radiant aether and its frequencies so strongly that began to crystallize.

LightBound Boreus reaches through time and space to summon its minions, though at the cost of its sanity.

LightBound Boreus can release a heavy blast of radiant energy that can kill those who don’t dodge it.

It’s not very friendly, but not hostile either. It will attack if threatened, however.

The Dreadlight Behemoth

The draconic beasts Skyslayers call Drasks are described as living fossil Behemoths, one almost completely unchanged since before The Upheaval. It is believed to be created by the people of ancient times as living weapons.

They seethe with the aetheric power of electricity, or rather the shock element, that of which they both use as a weapon and consume as food.

Drasks are described as “lightning lizards”, and they most certainly live up to said name.

The Thundersoul Behemoth

Skarn is a lizard-like Behemoth with the anatomy of a turtle, able to use living terra aether within their archonite cores to create protective armor. 

Skarn can pull its armor around its body to form a stone cocoon, and the blast it out as a wave of terra aether.

Though not as well as a Kharabak, Skarn can camouflage thanks to the natural environmental armor around their bodies.

Skarn is too tired to really pay much attention to you.

The Stoneheart Behemoth

Rezakiri is an insectoid Behemoth believed to have been extinct for centuries. 

Rezakiri can trap its enemies in prisms of light to protect itself even heavily damaged

Rezakiri is described as a “winged demon of cutting light”.

Rezakiri is trying to see if you’re a threat.

The Cataclysm Behemoth

Charrogg is of the sturdiest, toughest, and most stubborn Behemoths of the Shattered Isles. It is described as a walking volcanic eruption, for it can melt the very islands it stands on.

Charrogg can launch itself into the air with spiraling jets of fire produced by its aetheric flame sacs situated above each trunk-like limb.

Charrogg is not looking to be friends, so be on guard. 

The Lumbering Flamesoul Behemoth

Sahvyt is another artificial Behemoth created by the Ostia. However, unlike the Phaelanx, Sahvyt is fully organic.

Sahvyt has incredible speed and precision, being able to inflict deep wounds and wield electricity.

Like Phaelanx, Sahvyt has pain-inducing implants in their thick carapaces. 

Sahvyt is trying to determine what you are.

The Precision Behemoth

Thunderdeep Drask is a variant of Drask long thought to have been extinct. However, it has recently resurfaced around the Shattered Isles, having been evolving in apparent isolation, transforming its entire physiology.

Thunderdeep Drask has a wider and diverse range of attacks than a normal Drask due to evolution, its most notable attack being the lightning fist that slams foes with a crackling sphere of energy.

It sees you, but doesn’t know what you are due to its poor eyesight.

The Deepscale Behemoth

The Frostwulf is believed to be a variant of Embermane due to their almost identical physiognomy. Is is believed that the Frostwulf has been evolving for hundreds of years on Skaldeskar.

Frostwulf prefer to hunt anything steeped in frost aether, but mainly hunt for the fun of it.

Frostwulf can tear into frozen islands beneath its feet to release pent-up frost aether from the island’s core in the form of geysers.

Frostwulf isn’t hostile, but has no real interest in you.

The Packmaster Behemoth

Nayzaga is a Behemoth similar to that of a Quillshot, where it can fire the spikes on its back and plant them in the ground.

The spikes Nayzaga plants can release balls of lightning that you can deflect back at it.

Nayzaga is an effective digger, swiftly tearing their way through the earth if cornered. It can be interrupted when performing a belly-slide attack.

Nayzaga isn’t very friendly, but not entirely hostile either.
