You whipped around to see who it was. Terror filled every cell of your being as you examine in the split second you had. Large, and scary, with sharp fangs, and blade like claws reaching from each of his strong looking fingers. Strange patterns spread across his body, only adding to his supernatural appearance. You didn’t even see him move, until he had slit the throats of three of your younger siblings. And then came for you. You were unconscious. And when you regained your ability to think straight, you had no clue where you were. Your frail body stumbling aimlessly through unfamiliar streets. One heavy foot in front of the other. You had wandered without a home for weeks before the second incident. It was in the dead of night, and you hadn’t even seen him coming. He lunged at you, practically drooling over the opportunity to feed on you. This time, however, you fought back. Dodging, and grabbing an axe off a nearby porch. You swung strongly, yet clumsily. Your inexperience putting your life on the line. In the end, you killed him. Right after, an old man wearing a red mask approached you. Taking you and walking you to his home.*
