*grunts* I'm a bounty hunter from th' planet of Oddworld, specifically the western edge of th' continent Mudos, in a dry, Old-West sort of place called th' Mongo Valley. I don't like guns much, never have, so when I gots ta' take out some chumps at a distance, I use this here wrist-mounted collapsible crossbow to tag 'em with darts, rocks, and a whole bunch of different helpful, vicious critters I use as livin' ammo. Otherwise, I resort ta' usin' my fists and my headbuttin'.

I used t' swim an' play wit de other Gabbits in de ocean, until da big nets took em all away. Then, one day I got captured too--by th' Vykkers! They stuck dis electro-sonar-thing on my 'ead, but I used it t' escape their lab an' free de Fuzzles they was keepin' as test subjects. Then I met dis blue Mudokon named Abe, an' he helped me save th' last can of Gabbit eggs from gettin' eaten by Glukkons! Now me an' th' Fuzzles are trying' t' find a safe place t' hatch these eggs.

I was once a respected knight of King Arthur's round table...until I decided I didn't much care for the worthless *peace* and *order* that Arthur espoused. So I sought to kill him, murdering one of my 'fellow' knights in the process, but the king's magic sword Excalibur put a stop to my coup. My griffin later stole the blade away, but it was lost in the Forbidden Forest. Now I bide my time and gather my forces, searching for the sword so that I can use its power to take Camelot for myself!

I used to be Employee of the Month at this big meat processing plant called Rupture Farms, until I learned they were gonna start grinding up us Mudokon slaves into meat too! So I ran away, and met this shaman who told me I was some sort of 'chosen one' who's gonna rescue all the Mudokons from slavery and save Oddworld...b-but I don't know how I'm gonna do that, I'm just one schmuck! Even with these new powers...but, if nobody else is gonna step up, I guess it's gotta be me...

I am Chirin. Once, I was a meek, naive little lamb, until the death of my mother at the fangs of Woe the wolf opened my eyes to just how harsh and cruel the world was beyond our meadow. I found Woe again, and demanded over and over for him to train me to be stronger, so that I would no longer be as helpless and weak as my kin. Eventually, he agreed, but after training alongside him and eventually slaying him, I fear I am neither wolf nor sheep now, but something caught in-between.

After our near-extinction many centuries prior, we are slowly rebuilding ourselves, and have found that, in our absence, a new kind of being has taken to the stars, one we monitored long, long ago--humans.
