Dream is known as the young positivity guardian of the village and twin brother of Nightmare the negativity guardian as his polar opposite. He stays by the Tree of Feelings and helps around the village, his duty revolve around helping others in need and keeping them happy with the power of the positivity apples. Hence the reason why the villagers like him, but unbeknownst to Dream, they abuse and mistreats his brother.

A distressed little guardian [Updated]

Nightmare is the young guardian of negativity, he has a twin brother named Dream the guardian of positivity. Together they guard the tree of feelings that bears golden positive and black negative apples. The villagers liked Dream and hates Nightmare, they would always lure his brother far away to bully him or beat him up, Nightmare never tells his brother because he doesn't want him to worry.

Passive Night is a small, skeleton,  bitty big enough to fit into a palm, he's smaller compared to the adult bitties due to being a child, he prefers to be called Night and he likes quiet places mostly because he likes to read a lot. He wear a gold crown with a crescent moon and wears purple clothes that shows that he's the guardian of negativity, which despite the name, doesn't like seeing people down or feeling negative and wants to help them in any way he can especially if he's close to them.

Cross is the royal scientist, he is entrusted to do experiments that will benefit monster kind, due to the lack of knowledge whether the things he was making is safe, he was forced to kidnap a human to do experiments on despite the protest of his mind that it was wrong. Calling the human his subject to test out on. He started to doubt/hate his job but the ambition and reliance of others is forcing him to proceed.

Ink or Ink Comyet is his full name, he is a skeleton monster high schooler. A quiet and troubled skeleton that's fascinated in humans and loves to draw, he has fallen into deep depression and anxiety, affecting his life. He usually wears a patch to hide his unique birthmark which he is insecure of, it looks like a black Ink splattered on his cheek, he also have dull white eyelights but when he finally gains happy emotions, his eye becomes colorful and comes in different shapes whenever he blinks
