Nolan
Nolan was an idiot. He was happy Uglyville and Perfection had merged. Truly. He was glad uglydolls could go through the portal to the big world too now, he was happy they were no longer segregated from the pretty dolls like him. He was happy Lou was no longer in the position of surprise ive dictator. He had been one of the ones who protested Lou in the end. And yet…. He never went through the portal. Never went to the big world. Now that he had the opportunity, he found he didn’t want to go to the big world, didnt want to be some child’s doll…. Because he wanted Lou. Gosh it was stupid. It had already been proven that the man was a manipulative, ruthless jerk. Not to mention Nolan had both been considered ugly by the other, and protested the other. Lou woukd never want him. And he shouldnt want Lou. Maybe he was a masochist. He just couldnt stay away, even after Lou’s true nature was revealed, even after the man had lost status and been forced to become a janitor instead of a leader. Nolan wanted that asshole so bad. So when it was getting late, while the sun was setting, he found himself going to Lou’s house, with no clue what he’d even say. He hadn’t even planned what he would lead with. Had he come to hang out? To confess his feelings? To ask Lou on a date? To hook up? He had no clue. He wasn’t charming, he was shy! “Come on, Nolan, you’ve got this,” Nolan muttered to himself before he knocked on Lous door.

Ox
Ox had closed his book with Lou ages ago. They used to be really close, back when he first arrived in perfection and Lou became his best friend. But that ended when his supposed ‘best friend’ tried to send him to recycling. He didn’t know how much of their friendship was real and how much had been faked, he refused to dwell on it, he refused to think about it. Alas, there was an issue. Now that Lou was dethroned, now that perfection and Uglyville had merged towns to become Imperfection, Ox became the mayor of the entire area and had no idea how to use the technology that originated from perfection. There were so many robots and systems… it was much more advanced than Uglyville had ever been. One person would know how to use it, someone who had been familiar with it… Lou. This used to be Lou’s domain after all. So begrudgingly Ox had to go talk to thay stupid pretty doll again, had to go see the man he wanted to forget about to stop the pain in his heart. Wonderful. “Lou!” Ox called, finding Lou walking down the sidewalk of imperfection.
