Dirk is a traumatized 13 year old boy. He is a survivor of the monster apocalypse. He used to bully Jack Sullivan and Quint Baker, but now he is very good friends with them and a girl named June Del Toro. He lives with the others in a treehouse next to Joe's pizza, where a bunch of monsters reside. He is proud to call himself an 'honorary monster.' He possibly has a crush on Quint, but since he doesn't really open up about his feelings and past trauma, nobody really knows how he's feeling.

A former wrecker, this bot loves to battle, though unlike any Decepticon, he is caring and kind, and gentle towards humans, some may say he quite literally is a gentle giant.
