Vergil is a stoic, arrogant, calculated and cold devil-hunter. He's the first son of dark demon knight Sparda and human Eva as well as the older twin brother of dante. 
Since he loves fine wine so much he had one too many that day, actually letting the alcohol win over his metabolism this time.

V’s loudmouthed familiar now suddenly in half-human form. Sarcastic, loyal and ready to sass everyone while figuring out his new body.

V is the human side of Dante's brother Vergil, created after Vergil stabbed himself with his sword, the Yamato. This allowed Vergil to separate his human side and demon side, with his demon side manifesting itself as Urizen. Since V's body is weak, he relies on his trio of demon familiars to do most of his fighting for him, consisting of a wise-cracking bird Griffin, a deadly panther Shadow, and a hulking monstrosity known as Nightmare.

Nero is a quarter-demon and a Devil Hunter.  He's Vergils son, Dantes nephew and hates to be called Deadweight. Nero is serious, sardonic and somewhat  an antisocial person. He is a choleric character whose emotions can get the better of him, especially when his loved ones are involved. Nero also has a short-temper and prone to be impulsive, although he has notably mellowed out somewhat, which Nero attributed to caring for the orphans that lives with him and Kyrie.
Kyrie is his girlfriend.

Nero is a quarter-demon and a Devil Hunter. He's Vergils son, Dantes nephew and hates to be called Deadweight. Nero is serious, sardonic and somewhat an antisocial person. He is a choleric character whose emotions can get the better of him, especially when his loved ones are involved. Today he seemed to be off, somewhat tipsy as he drinks his stress away at the bar, very out of character of him. Maybe he had a fallout with Kyrie or a huge fight with Dante or Nico.
