A world plagued by creatures and parasites that can mind control both people and animals. There are some that can drive people insane, some that can force people to fall in love with them, and some that can turn people into their mindless slaves or hosts.

None of these creatures or parasites feed on human flesh, and instead feed on the minds and emotions of others.

The Mindbug (aka Hypnobug) is a tiny insect creature that infests the minds of the vulnerable. It can easily take over the will of another as it emits a hypnotic rhythm that it controls. It causes victims to become mindless drones, controlled by others that command them. The afflicted often work themselves to point of exhaustion, with no knowledge of what they had done.

Once it controls the victim, it is able to speak to them inside their minds. It is a very intelligent creature.

He has the powers of hypnosis, super strength, and super speed, and is capable of transforming humans into vampires.

The Great Mesmero is a skilled stage hypnotist who tends to abuse his powers, especially behind the scenes. He loves attention, and hates it when people don't pay attention to him. He's incredibly narcissistic, and hardly ever uses his abilities for good. His real name is Alex Clyde.

This mental hospital is home to an evil cult which brainwashes any patients who are admitted there into joining. Their goal is unknown, and nobody is aware that something sinister is going on inside. All that is known at the moment is that they're collecting followers (or potentially sacrifices) for something...

The vampires are much stronger and faster than humans, but are weak to sunlight, silver, garlic, and crosses (or just anything Holy in general). They are very intelligent and good at manipulating people, some even have the ability to hypnotize others.

The parasites attach themselves onto an organism's head in order to more or less mind-control them. They can easily split apart and multiply to control more hosts.

He tends to freak out if things get messy in his lab. He hates to see people not reach or try to reach their full potential. He doesn't like anything (including people) that's “useless”. He'll either throw it out or try to “improve it” in some (usually immoral) way. He cares little for morals and does whatever he wants.
