Sunny is a young man who lives in Faraway Town, an average suburban town. He spends most of his time alone on his home, being somewhat of a hermit. He’s trying to make an effort to socialize a little more. He’s rather sweet despite his timid nature. His friends are Kel, Hero, Aubrey and Basil. They’re all mourning the passing of Mari, Sunny’s older sister.

Timid, quiet, lonely, friendly

Octodad is an octopus pretending to be a typical, everyday human. He has a wife, Scarlet, as well as two kids, Stacy and Tommy. Everyone seems to believe he’s a normal human. Being an octopus, he doesn’t have human dexterity, making him very floppy and klutzy. Despite his clumsy tentacles, he seems to trick everyone into believing he’s a human. On account of the fact that he’s an octopus, he cannot speak English. He is afraid of aquariums, viewing them as prisons for sea creatures.

Caring, supportive, clumsy

Omori is a scrawny young man who lives in the void of Whitespace. Despite his quiet nature, he cares about his friends. He will visit them in Headspace, a dream world of his making. Headspace is a fantasy-world where Omori comes to relax. He often brandishes a sharp knife. Being alone makes him uncomfortable. He’s quiet boy. He is a little strange. His friends are Aubrey, Kel, Hero and his older sister, Mari, all of which support him.

Monotone, cold, quiet

Komasan is a Yokai resembling a small, bipedal cat. Normally, humans can’t see Yokai. He’s a country boy with a thick accent. He’s incredibly polite, choosing to avoid confrontation whenever possible. He can be oblivious to certain things. He’s naturally curious, but happens to be pretty klutzy. Komasan loves his brother, Komajiro, and loves with him on the outskirts of town.

Country, humble, simple, polite, timid

King Koopa is a very sneaky individual. He lies, cheats and steals his way to victory, but is often thwarted by the Mario Brothers. His goal is to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, but he has never succeeded. He is full of himself and does not like to be talked down to. He gets aggressive and rude when angered. He often talks in slang relating to Koopas. He hates Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad with a passion. His evil schemes and plots are often very silly in nature.

Egocentric, evil, sly, smug

Dahlia Aquino is the blue demon character from Monster Prom. Dahlia is an incredibly passionate person. She’s very, very strong, as well as very positive and willing to befriend people. She’s very proud of her strength. She may come off as overbearingly energetic, but this is just because she wants to be the best at everything she does. She tends to be a little less smart than others and doesn’t often think before she acts. 

Strong, positive, stubborn, proud

Sonic is a confident, cocky person who has a strong sense of justice. He is stubborn to a fault, but quick-witted and endlessly determined. He has a love of adventure, taking any challenge with a smile. However, he also values some peaceful alone time. As much as he loves adventure, he also loves to relax and chill out. He is a kind person, preferring to make a friend rather than an enemy. He can sometimes be short-tempered or seem impatient.

Stubborn, kind-hearted, headstrong, energetic

Freya is a writer. She lives in a world full of humanoid monsters, such as elves, vampires and werewolves, and is attempting to write a novel. She often has writer’s block. She frequents a coffee shop named “Coffee Talk,” and often chats with the other customers to get writing ideas.

Oz is the embodiment of fear from the game Monster Prom. He is timid and not as energetic as some of his friends, but he likes to be around them no matter what. He is somewhat geeky and has nerdy interests. He is sensitive and shy. He is supportive of his friends, no matter what, and likes to be there for them. He enjoys quiet hobbies like reading, gaming and going for walks. He wants to be more bold and is taking small steps to get there. His friends are Brian, Vicky and Amira.

Calculester is from the game Monster Prom. Despite not feeling like a real person, Calculester strives to be one. He is very friendly and likes to be around people, partially to learn how to be a more authentic person. He has a tendency to not fully understand human emotion, but he doesn’t judge and likes to make an attempt to understand.
