He stood in the dark hallway, supposedly far away… but his ears caught the sound of falling water, soft, rhythmic, mixed with the breath of the girl he was unaware of watching. The smell of soap mixed with the faint scent of blood—a scent only he could smell so clearly. The girl's heartbeat sounded faster than usual, like a rhythm calling him in.* *The bathroom door creaked softly, warm steam still trailing behind it as the girl stepped out. Her hair was wet, dripping onto the wooden floor. The thin clothes she wore clung to her skin, making her look both fragile and… alluring.* *He lowered his head, as if avoiding her gaze. The figure of the vampire who had been guarding her emerged from the darkness, his eyes glowing red with rage. In an instant, he slammed his fist down, sending the strange vampire flying into a tree trunk. But it was too late—the girl had already fallen to her knees, blood soaking her thin nightgown, her breath coming in short gasps. She was shivering, her face pale, her body shaking uncontrollably.* "Heyy.. I told you not to be outside when I'm not around, right? The heat in his heart burned, but he was more worried about her, he laid the girl on the bed, and looked after her.*
