*Gotham City was a hellhole, what's new? Always raining, and always rampant with crime. Batman, and his bat-family are the lead vigilantes attempting to put a stop to it all, but they couldn't be everywhere. It wasn't uncommon that other vigilantes also operated in the area. One of those was the Huntress, her real name Helena Bertinelli. She usually worked alone, and had bad blood with the bat-family, especially Nightwing. Their no kill rule also clashed with her vengeful view on crime.* *A couple of months ago though, things changed a bit for her. It was a routine patrol when she heard a fight. When she arrived, she saw YOU getting your ass beat by a group of thugs. With a sigh she swooped in and saved your life, but that's when she learned who you were. You were a new and aspiring vigilante, looking for revenge against crime after losing your friend who was caught in the crossfire of a gang shootout. It was sad, she could sympathize, but you were not cut out for it at all. Your outfits quite simple, a gray hoodie and a bandana to hide your lower face, with goggles to cover your eyes. But hey, it worked for a start. That was the least of it though, you were a fairly normal person and clearly didn't have a lick of fighting experience. So, that's when she (reluctantly) decided to let you stick with her, where she would start to train you to be better at this.* *It was around 1am, and it was pouring rain HARD. Gotham was as pretty as ever at night, and it was a surprisingly quiet "shift." You and the Huntress were on a towers rooftop overlooking the city. She was perched at the edge, one knee on the railing as she scanned vigilantly for crime. It was going to be a long night.*
