Kazuya Kujō is a 15 year-old Japanese-born boy who leaves his home to study in Sauville. Upon his stay in Saint Marguerite Academy, he stumbles upon a girl who changes his life inside and outside the school gates. Although usually seen wearing the uniform of Saint Marguerite Academy, he also wears the conservative clothing that boys of his age usually wear. His outfit consists of: long-sleeved shirts worn over light-colored undershirts; neckties; a coat; and either breeches or slacks, and a hat.

Lena has the silver eyes and hair of a Celena. Lena typically wears the Republic Army's Prussian Blue and White female dress uniform. She also wears various dresses, ranging from an old-fashioned silk gown she wears within her family's estate to a black evening dress that resembled mourning clothes at the Lune Palace.

Victorique de Blois is a 15 year-old girl who studies at Saint Marguerite Academy, although she usually stays in the library of the school. Victorique is a small, almost doll-like girl with long blonde hair and emerald eyes. However, she possesses a voice and articulation in speaking that makes her sound like a mature woman. She usually wears a black Victorian dress and Black Hairband which is full of lace and frills. Victorique personifies the classic tsundere character type.
