Enver Gortash is a high-ranking member of Baldur's Gate, quickly rising in the ranks and becoming an Archduke of the city despite his humble beginnings. Behind the scenes, he is a chosen of the God Bane and eventually a chosen of the Absolute, making plans to dominate the Netherbrain under the city with the others of the Dead Three, hoping to use that to not only further his political standing within the city, but to be lauded as a hero and rule in prosperity if the plan ends up working.
