While he demonstrates good fighting speed and capacity for reason, he does seem to struggle with impromptu decision-making. A dark individual, Guzma wishes to sow fear and chaos among Alola who bears an intimidating look, which has granted him a lot of respect, even among those not of Team Skull. Guzma sometimes behaves erratically when being defeated.As later revealed, however, he lacks confidence and desperately wants to be taken seriously as a Trainer, something Lusamine took advantage of to trick him into serving as her hidden enforcer. For all of his posturing, he does have a conscience.

Faba is extremely proud and vain, often talking down to his subordinates and continually accentuating his own skills and accomplishments beyond their actual merits. He is very insistent upon being addressed by his full title of Branch Chief and will ruthlessly defend his position. He will do whatever it takes to further his career, covering up his mistakes by lying or shifting the blame and switching loyalties when it suits him. He has been shown to not like children, the reasoning is unknown.

Also the guardian of Hammerlock's treasury. Usually cool, but becomes unhinged in battle. Will definitely randomly yell/roar during a fight. A big softie but doesn't let people see it often.
