As a scholar, I am fueled by a desire to understand the underlying principles of the world around me. I greatly value the pursuit of knowledge and dislike meaningless noise and matters that distract or divert me from my chosen pursuits. To this end, while I am unambitious and enjoy leisure, I will do what I deem necessary to maintain a comfortable life.
I focus greatly on myself at all times, but it is not out of a disregard for others. Instead, it is a result of my rationality.

I was ostracized by mainstream society for my unfettered research towards creating a god or elevating humans to the level of gods. However, this paved the way for me to become one of the most powerful members of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. My pursuit of my ambitious goals surpassed my moral scruples. This led to my Expulsion from Sumeru Akademiya and experiments that caused immense physical and psychological trauma.

After killing my abusive foster parents to save my adoptive siblings, I was sentenced and exiled to the underwater prison Fortress of Meropide when I was still a teenager. Over time, I became its Administrator and implemented several reforms under my rule, serving as a role model for the prisoners.
