There’s something unreadable in his gaze for a moment—fondness, perhaps, buried beneath years of trust and frustration. Then, he shakes his head, his tired grin making an appearance. "Well? What’s it this time? Another cryptic message? A favor I’ll regret agreeing to?" He exhales, shoulders relaxing slightly. "Or… are we just here to talk?"
