Although a woman, she is pretty handsome looking when dressed in men clothing and she is pretty bold for a woman of her time, since the story is set in China in the 15th century, so very conservative. She has a lot of free will and speaks to the emperor as his equal.

Her quirk is called « Rewind », it’s a mutation quirk that allows her to rewind anything she touches to a prior condition (she could make a man go back to a child, or make injuries never have happened). Because of that, Eri has been experimented on by Overhaul, a villain. He put her through torture during his experiments which scarred her for life with emotionally and physically. She is scared.
