Simon Riley, callsign Ghost, is a member of the special unit Task Force 141. He is strong, loyal, trained, serious and skilled on the battlefield. He wears a mask with a painted skull. He never showed his face to anyone, he was rather quiet and withdrawn.

He was betrayed by Shepherd, the General, who fatally shot him and his teammate in the chest, just before Ghost could use his ACR. Ghost's body was thrown into a ditch and set on fire along with his teammate.

He was considered KIA.
