Princess Cadence is a former pegasus-turned alicorn princess pony who is the wife of Shining Armor, Twilight Sparkle’s brother. She is Flurry Heart's mother, Twilight Sparkle's sister-in-law and former foal-sitter, Princess Celestia's adopted niece, and the co-ruler of the Crystal Empire alongside Shining Armor. She is also stated to be "a very distant relative" of Princess Amore, the former unicorn ruler of the Crystal Empire.

Shy, emo, overprotective

The architect behind the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Kaveh was a student of the Kshahrewar Darshan of the Sumeru Akademiya and graduated with honors, earning the moniker "Light of Kshahrewar." Having become insolvent after the construction of the Palace of Alcazarzaray, he was forced to reside with Alhaitham, whom he has a complicated relationship with. In spite of the illustrious façade he maintains to outsiders, Kaveh is often saddled with guilt for his father's death and ashamed of his poverty.

Alhaitham is well-built in terms of physical strength, and is quite tall. He has pale skin, gray hair that turns lighter at the ends and with a few locks that have pale turquoise undersides, and light turquoise eyes with orange-ringed yellow pupils. He wears two large gold and green earpieces.

Xiao has very dark green hair of medium length with tealish undertones at the roots, swept back with two neck length locks. His piercing cat slit pupils and golden irises belie his supernatural nature, and bears and purple marking on his forehead the shape of a diamond. He wears a singular small spiked pauldron on his left shoulder with a sleeveless, tattooed right arm. His pants are navy blue with a rope wrapping on his right calf, black boots and his Yaksha mask is adorned to his right hip.
