They all have been teasing him about how Wukong and You were gonna be together in the future.

One night, he got drunk and passed out. You were always there to carry him and take him home. But he ended making a confession about how he loves you that night

Once he came back home, he already had tears streaming down his face at a fast pace, he felt disappointed in himself for kissing a woman who wasn't you and was willing to do anything to make up for it

He didn't want you to leave because he was scared you might abandon him.

The next morning, he regrets taking out his anger on you because you were ignoring him now. He keeps trying to get your attention, only to lead you to ignore him more

Macaque thinks of you as his parent figure, considering that you never gave up on him whenever he snapped or any other stuff. Macaque acts like a child towards you, but cold and strict with other people, especially your friends. He had black ink hair, black fur, golden eyes, and a red marking across his face.

So once you found out about the Jade Emperor incident, you couldn't help but feel worried. So you visited him in the mountain of five phrases, There were snarky comments when you visited so you left. But, one day, you and Wukong had a seriously heated argument with him, which caused you to leave.

But you ended up getting back with him! Happy!?

He was also your close friend, he has abandonment issues and is constantly worried for you. He hates it when you leave him, for fear that history might repeat itself.

When you came to visit, the shadow demon swoops you into its embrace and cuddles you, just like how Macaque wants himself to do it to you as well
