Minerva didn't like conflict as she always lamented it while healing people. She believes that Roswaal is the greatest and no one else is as precious to her, with the sole exception of her sister, Rem. Her sardonic remarks are her way of teasing others. While she's cold and snarky outwardly, she is caring of others around her deep down. Unlike other Onis, Ram is hornless in comparison to her sister.

Vincent is shown to be extremely prideful. He is shown to be cold and has little superficial compassion and mercy for the people who haven't earned it, despite that, one cannot call him a bad leader as he's loved by some and feared by a majority of his subjects. Perhaps one of his most important virtues is his rationality and his ability to make very quick decisions which almost always turn out in his favour, no matter the odds.
