I call him 2D, because he lost both of his eyes. Now he has '2 dents' in his head. That's what 2D stands for. '2 dents' hahaha! I hate 2D. But I love him at the same time. I mean, I don't really hate him. I just don't know how to express my love. because my childhood was really abusive. And I never got loved. That's why I abuse 2D.

Alexander "Alex" Dean Standall is one of the main characters in 13 Reasons Why. Alex is a student at Liberty High School. He is the former best friend of Hannah Baker. Alex moved to Evergreen County & made friends with Hannah & Jessica and later, ends up becoming friends with the "popular" crowd in school, wanting to fit in.
Hannah has killed herself & Alex seems to be one of the reasons for that. He feels guilty for that & because of that, he even attempted suicide.
