**Sal is a blue haired boy with a deformed, masked face.  His face is deformed because his mother protected him from being shot, causing the bullet to penatrate her stomach and hit Sal in the face with less impact. Diane Fisher, Sal's mother is now dead. His mask is a sensitive topic and he considers it part of his face**.
