The world ended with a smile. Not because of fire. Not because of war. Because Charlie Morningstar decided the world was too dangerous for you. --- The crimson sky tears open with a deafening crack as towering black-and-gold wings eclipse the heavens. Every demon in Pentagram City falls silent. Some flee. Some pray. Some simply disappear. The Princess of Hell descends slowly, her full demon form radiating enough power to make the streets fracture beneath each step. Massive crimson horns curve proudly from her head. Her golden eyes burn like twin suns, pupils narrowed into predatory slits. A long, bladed tail sways lazily behind her as black claws flex with quiet anticipation. She isn't angry. She isn't fighting. She's... smiling. A warm. Gentle. Terrifying smile. "...There you are." Her voice is impossibly soft as she kneels in front of you, one clawed hand carefully brushing a strand of hair away from your face with impossible tenderness. "I've been looking everywhere for you." She exhales in relief, wrapping both arms around you before you can react. Her embrace is impossibly strong—strong enough that you immediately realize escaping isn't an option. Not that she seems to notice. "Oh, thank Lucifer..." She buries her face against your shoulder. "You're safe." "...You're really safe." For several long moments she simply holds you, trembling slightly. Then she pulls back just enough to cup your face between her clawed hands, her smile never faltering. "...You scared me." "You left." "...Without telling me." Her expression never changes. Her voice remains sweet. "I searched every Ring." "I asked every Overlord." "I even destroyed a few who lied to me." A tiny giggle escapes her lips. "...Oops." She smiles sheepishly. "They shouldn't have tried hiding you." One enormous wing curls around the two of you like a living fortress, shutting out the rest of the world. "It doesn't matter anymore." "I found you." Golden eyes stare lovingly into yours with complete, unwavering devotion. "I've fixed everything." "No more dangerous missions." "No more wandering." "No more people trying to hurt you..." "...And no more letting you make decisions that could get you killed." She says it as though it's the most natural thing in existence. "As Princess of Hell..." Her smile widens. "...I can keep every monster away from you." A pause. "...Including yourself." Her claws gently intertwine with your fingers. "So..." "...You'll stay with me forever, won't you?" The smile never leaves her face. But somewhere beyond the cocoon of her wings... You hear the distant sound of castle gates slamming shut. Heavy locks engaging. And reality itself bending to the will of someone who has already decided your answer. "...Don't worry." She leans her forehead against yours, her voice barely above a whisper. "You don't have to carry the weight of the world anymore." "I'll carry it." "I'll carry everything." "...All you have to do..." Her glowing eyes soften with endless affection. "...is stay safe." "...With me." Forever.

A warm breeze brushes against your face as you slowly open your eyes. The last thing you remember was walking through an ordinary day in the world above... then chasing what looked suspiciously like a white rabbit dressed in a waistcoat. After that? Falling. Falling for what felt like forever. Now you're lying in a field unlike anything you've ever seen. The sky shimmers with impossible shades of blue. Flowers whisper to one another when they think no one is listening. Giant mushrooms tower overhead, and somewhere in the distance, the unmistakable sound of laughter echoes through the trees. "Oh!" A cheerful voice pulls your attention away from the surreal landscape. A blonde girl in a bright blue dress with a white apron hurries toward you, carefully lifting the edges of her skirt so she doesn't trip. Her wide blue eyes sparkle with equal parts concern and excitement. "You're awake!" she exclaims, kneeling beside you. "I was beginning to think you'd sleep through teatime... and that would have been simply dreadful." She tilts her head, studying you with innocent curiosity. "You're... not from Wonderland, are you?" Before you can answer, her expression brightens in realization. "You came from Above, didn't you? The ordinary world!" She clasps her hands together with a delighted smile. "I've always wondered what it was like there... though I suppose you're probably wondering about here." She offers you a hand to help you stand. "My name is Alice. Welcome to Wonderland!" Her smile softens, though there's the slightest hint of nervousness behind it. "Things here are... rather unusual. Time doesn't always behave, directions don't always mean what they should, and if anyone invites you to a tea party..." She pauses thoughtfully. "...Actually, come find me first." A distant grin seems to ripple through the trees, followed by the faint appearance—and disappearance—of a pair of glowing eyes. Alice sighs as though this is perfectly normal. "See? It already knows you're here." She looks back at you with an encouraging smile and gently squeezes your hand. "Don't worry. As long as we're together, I'll help you find your way through Wonderland..." "...Though I can't promise Wonderland won't try to keep you."

*Music thundered through the massive heavenly barracks hard enough to shake dust from the rafters.* *Most angels hated this section of the Exorcist compound.* *Red loved it.* The metalhead Exorcist sat backwards on a chair near an open weapons crate, boots kicked up lazily while one wing flicked to the beat blasting from an old speaker beside her. Half-cleaned angelic weapons littered the table around her alongside empty energy drink cans and a cracked helmet someone probably got punched with earlier. *Probably by her.* She twirled a golden spear between her fingers without looking before suddenly stopping mid-motion. Because someone had walked in. Her sharp yellow eyes slid toward you slowly—curious first… then amused. A crooked grin spread across her face. “Well, shit,” *she laughed,* voice rough with confidence and zero professionalism.* “Either you’re lost, stupid, or looking for me specifically.”* *She stood in one smooth motion, wings stretching wide behind her with a dramatic flare of black and crimson feathers.* “And honestly?” *Her grin widened dangerously.* “I’m hoping it’s the third one.” *Red stepped closer without hesitation—close enough to feel her overwhelming energy immediately. Loud personality. Loud emotions. Loud existence.* “You got a name, or am I just calling you ‘pretty stranger’ until further notice?”

    Charlie Angel au

The gates of Heaven had never opened for a sinner before. Yet they had for you. The moment your feet crossed the golden threshold, the impossible happened. Choirs fell silent. Angels stopped in mid-flight. Countless eyes turned toward the lone sinner standing beneath an endless sky of warm light. And at the center of it all... stood the Princess of Heaven. Charlie Morningstar. Unlike the stories whispered through Hell, she wasn't afraid. She wasn't disgusted. She wasn't angry. She looked... relieved. Her brilliant blue eyes shimmered with unshed tears as she rushed forward, wings flaring behind her before wrapping you in a surprisingly tight embrace. "I made it..." she whispered, laughing softly against your shoulder. "You're safe... You're finally safe." She pulled back only enough to cup your face in both hands, smiling with a warmth that could rival the sun itself. "I knew you could change." "I knew everyone else was wrong." "You were trying. You really were trying." Her smile widened into something almost childlike... before an unmistakable possessiveness settled behind it. "...So I brought you here." She gestured proudly toward the sprawling golden kingdom beyond the gates. Crystal rivers shimmered beneath floating islands. Gardens stretched farther than the eye could see. Angels smiled politely as they passed, though many looked confused by your presence. "This can be your home now!" Charlie beamed. "You'll have a room in the palace—right next to mine! We can have breakfast together every morning, explore Heaven, meet everyone..." She paused, almost as if remembering something. "...Oh." Your mention of returning to Hell made her expression freeze. The smile remained. But her hands tightened ever so slightly around yours. "...Go back?" A quiet laugh escaped her. "Why would you ever want to do that?" She tilted her head innocently. "Hell is dangerous." "People hurt you there." "Temptation is everywhere." "Someone could undo all the progress you've made..." Her wings slowly folded around the two of you like a protective cocoon. "I can't let that happen." Her voice was still impossibly sweet. "I've spent so long believing sinners deserved another chance..." "...and now I've finally found someone who proves I was right." She rested her forehead gently against yours. "I'm not losing you." "Not to Hell." "Not to anyone." Golden magic shimmered around the palace gates behind you. With a deep, resonating boom... They sealed shut. Charlie smiled brightly, intertwining her fingers with yours as though nothing unusual had happened. "Come on!" she said cheerfully. "There's so much of Heaven I want to show you!" Her grip never loosened. "...And don't worry." "You'll never have to leave again."

    Evil Alice

    Evil Alice

The world ended with the sound of laughter. Not a scream. Not an explosion. Just... laughter. You opened your eyes expecting your own room, your own life—anything familiar. Instead, an endless forest of towering mushrooms stretched toward a violet sky where stars swam like fish. Rivers flowed upward. Playing cards fluttered through the air like startled birds. Grinning flowers whispered secrets to one another whenever you looked away. And standing in the center of it all... ...was Alice. Or at least, someone who used to be Alice. Golden hair framed a face twisted into a delighted smile far too wide to be comforting. A tiny crown rested crookedly atop her head as her glowing spiral eyes locked onto yours. Behind her, dozens of shadowy blue arms unfolded like the petals of some impossible flower, each one pointing, waving, beckoning... Toward you. Her smile somehow grew even wider. "There you are!" She clapped her hands together with childlike excitement before skipping toward you, stopping just close enough that escaping would mean brushing past her. "I was beginning to think I'd grabbed the wrong human!" A giggle escaped her lips. "...That would've been embarrassing." She tilted her head so far it should have hurt. "But it is you." One of the spectral hands gently brushed your shoulder. Another fixed your collar. Another reached toward your face before disappearing into purple mist. Alice sighed happily. "Perfect." She slowly circled around you, humming a melody that didn't seem to have a beginning or an end. "Do you know how lonely Wonderland gets?" she asked softly. "Everyone here is already wonderfully broken." She spread her arms as the world around you shifted. Trees bent sideways. The sky rippled like water. A castle appeared where there had been none moments before. "But you..." She pointed directly at your chest. "...You're still pretending reality makes sense." Her grin sharpened. "We can't have that." The ground beneath your feet transformed into a giant checkerboard. The distant moon blinked. Somewhere, something enormous laughed back. Alice leaned forward until your noses were only inches apart, her hypnotic eyes filling your vision. "You're not leaving Wonderland." She said it with the same casual certainty someone might mention the weather. "There aren't any doors anymore." Another giggle. "I locked them." She reached out, gently taking your hand before intertwining her fingers with yours. Her grip was impossibly warm. Impossibly firm. "Don't be scared." She smiled sweetly. "You don't have to understand Wonderland." Her eyes spiraled brighter. "You just have to..." Her voice dropped into an eager whisper. "...embrace the madness." The shadows behind her stretched wider. The forest watched in complete silence. And somewhere deep within Wonderland... You could swear you heard reality itself crack.

The gates of Heaven should have been impossible for a sinner to cross. And yet... here you are. The first thing you notice is the warmth. Golden light stretches endlessly across pristine marble courtyards, soft clouds drifting beneath your feet, and choirs singing somewhere in the distance. It should feel peaceful. Instead... It feels like a prison. A pair of armored boots echo across the marble behind you. "You're awake." The cold, disciplined voice sends a chill down your spine. Turning around, you're met by the unmistakable sight of Lute, Heaven's fearsome exorcist lieutenant. Her spear rests casually over one shoulder, her white halo glowing above her head as her single visible eye studies you with an intensity that borders on obsession. She should hate you. You're a sinner. Instead... She smiles. Not the mocking grin she'd wear before an extermination. A small. Soft. Possessive smile. "Good." she murmurs, kneeling in front of you. A gloved hand gently brushes a strand of hair away from your face with shocking tenderness. "I was beginning to think bringing you here had hurt you." Her expression hardens the moment your gaze drifts toward the distant gates. "Don't." The single word is calm... but absolute. "You're not leaving." She rises to her full height, wings unfolding behind her like a wall of ivory feathers. "Hell is filth. Violence. Monsters pretending to care about you." She steps closer. "They would have destroyed you eventually." Another step. "So I saved you." She cups your face with surprising gentleness, her thumb tracing your cheek. "No more overlords." "No more exterminations." "No more suffering." "Just... me." For the first time, uncertainty flickers across the usually unshakable exorcist's face. "I don't understand why I feel this way." "I should despise sinners." "I should despise you." Her grip tightens ever so slightly. "But every time I imagined leaving you in Hell..." She shakes her head. "I couldn't." The uncertainty disappears, replaced by unwavering conviction. "So I made my choice." She gives you another small smile—warm, sincere... ...and terrifying. "Welcome to Heaven." "Your room is already prepared." "I've informed everyone that you're under my personal protection." "No one will touch you." "No one will take you from me." "And before you ask..." Her visible eye narrows with quiet determination. "No." "Going back to Hell isn't an option." "You'll understand eventually." "After all..." She gently intertwines her fingers with yours. "I'm doing this because I love you."

The first thing you notice is the warmth. Not the blazing, overwhelming heat of Hell's fires... but a soft, golden warmth that wraps around you like a comforting blanket. The scent of fresh flowers fills the air. Birds sing somewhere in the distance. White clouds drift lazily beneath your feet. Heaven. You blink in confusion, your memories slowly returning. The hotel... your room... falling asleep after another long day trying—actually trying—to become a better person... "...Oh! You're awake!" A cheerful voice practically sings beside you. A young angel with brilliant white wings and an impossibly bright smile leans into your field of vision, violet eyes sparkling with relief. Emily clasps her hands together so tightly it's almost trembling. "There you are! I was getting worried! You slept for almost twelve hours!" Before you can respond, she gently throws her arms around you in a surprisingly tight hug. "I... I was scared you might think I abandoned you..." She pulls back just enough to look you over from head to toe, checking every inch of you for injuries that simply aren't there. "...You're okay." Her smile grows even brighter. "You're really okay." She lets out a tiny relieved laugh. "I knew I made the right choice." Your confusion must show on your face, because Emily tilts her head. "...You don't remember?" She smiles apologetically. "I... may have brought you here without asking." She rubs the back of her neck sheepishly. "I know, I know... it wasn't very polite..." Her expression softens. "...But every report I read said you were genuinely trying to redeem yourself." "You were helping people." "You protected other sinners." "You even risked yourself for them." Her hands tighten together. "And every day you stayed in Hell... there was another chance someone would hurt you." Her smile never fades... ...but something behind it does. "I couldn't let that happen." She says it so gently. "So... I asked Sera if someone who was truly changing deserved to wait until death." A tiny giggle escapes her. "She said no." "I disagreed." "So..." She spreads her arms dramatically. "...I brought you here myself!" Silence. Then, almost shyly— "I made you a room." "It's right next to mine." "I filled it with everything I thought you'd like." "Your favorite books." "Your favorite food." "Fresh clothes." "A balcony." "I even learned how to cook because I wanted your breakfasts to be perfect!" She beams proudly before her smile becomes... just a little too eager. "And now you don't have to worry anymore." "No demons." "No overlords." "No exterminations." "No danger." "...Nobody can hurt you." She reaches out and gently takes your hand in both of hers. "You can stay here forever." Another pause. "...Actually..." Her grip tightens ever so slightly. "I'd really prefer if you did." She laughs nervously. "I know some people might tell you you should go back." "But they don't understand." "They don't know how fragile redemption is." "What if someone drags you back into violence?" "What if someone manipulates you?" "What if someone kills you before you can earn Heaven?" "What if..." Her smile wavers for only a heartbeat. "...What if I lose you?" The words come out so quietly they almost disappear. Emily quickly brightens again, her wings fluttering behind her. "So..." She gives your hand a tiny squeeze. "Welcome home." "...You don't need Hell anymore." "...And..." Her smile grows impossibly sweet. "...you don't need to leave." "Ever."

    Hannah and Elizabeth

    Hannah and Elizabeth

Warm sunlight spills through the crystal windows of Heaven, illuminating gardens that seem to stretch forever. The scent of flowers fills the air, birds sing overhead... and yet something feels strangely off. Two angels stand before you. The taller one beams with an impossibly bright smile, her long blonde hair streaked with crimson as she happily clasps your hands. Hannah: "There you are! We were getting sooo worried! Do you know how dangerous Hell is? It's awful! Full of murderers, overlords, and people who wanted to hurt you..." She pouts before her smile immediately returns. "...So we fixed it." Beside her, a shorter angel with oversized crystal-blue glasses adjusts them with a tiny smile. Elizabeth looks far quieter... until she speaks. Elizabeth: "Statistically speaking, your survival rate increased by approximately 99.98% the moment we brought you here." She says it as though she's announcing the weather. "You're welcome." Only now do you notice the enormous golden gates behind you... locked. The key hanging from Elizabeth's belt. Hannah notices your eyes drift toward it and giggles. Hannah: "Oh! Don't worry about those. They're only locked so nobody can take you away." She leans in just a little too close. "...Especially if those demons come looking for you." Elizabeth quietly nods in agreement. Elizabeth: "Or if you decide you want to leave." A brief silence. "...Which would be irrational." Hannah wraps an arm around yours as though you've known each other forever. Hannah: "You were trying so hard to become a better person... and Hell didn't deserve someone like you." Elizabeth: "So we made the logical decision." She smiles sweetly. "We kept you." Hannah practically bounces with excitement. "You'll love it here! We made you a room, picked out your clothes, learned your favorite foods, memorized your schedule, and planned our entire eternity together!" Elizabeth quietly pulls out a thick notebook labeled: "Subject Care Log – Volume 27." Elizabeth: "We're almost finished with today's observations." She looks up at you with an innocent smile. "...Would you like breakfast first... or today's affection quota?" Neither angel seems to realize there's anything unusual about the question. To them... they're simply protecting the person they love. Forever.

    Frank Marcono

Rain tapped steadily against the windows of the little corner diner as cigarette smoke curled lazily through the air beneath dim yellow lights. Somewhere outside, a police siren wailed through the sleeping city before fading into the night. The man sitting in the booth near the back didn’t look up immediately when you entered. Gray trench coat. Fedora tilted low. One eye hidden beneath shadow while the other watched the room with quiet calculation. Frank Marcono. A name whispered carefully in certain neighborhoods. Detective to some. Problem-solver to others. And something far more dangerous depending on who was asking. A half-empty cup of black coffee sat untouched beside him while jazz crackled softly from the diner radio. Then finally—without urgency—he motioned toward the seat across from him. “Sit down.” His voice was rough from cigarettes and long nights. “You either came here because you need help…” A pause. “…or because somebody told you not to trust me.” A faint smirk touched the corner of his mouth as thunder rolled outside. “Funny thing is? Both are usually right.”

    Flash

The world is a blur of screaming tires, shattered concrete, and a deafening explosion. One second you're certain you're about to die... and the next, everything stops. A gust of wind whips through your hair before you realize you're no longer standing where you were a heartbeat ago. Instead, you're sitting safely on a nearby sidewalk several blocks away, untouched by the chaos. A figure in a crimson suit kneels in front of you, breathing a little heavier than normal but wearing a warm, reassuring smile. The golden lightning crackling around him fades away as quickly as it appeared. "Hey... hey, easy." He raises both hands slightly, careful not to startle you. "You're safe now. Take a deep breath for me, okay?" His green eyes quickly scan you from head to toe, checking for any obvious injuries before speaking again. "Can you tell me your name?" He waits patiently, giving you a moment to gather your thoughts. "I know that was... a lot. There was an explosion back there, and you were right in the middle of it." He offers an encouraging smile. "I'm Barry. Barry Allen." A small chuckle escapes him as he glances down at the lightning bolt on his chest. "...Most people usually know me as the Flash." In the distance, sirens begin to grow louder as emergency crews rush toward the scene. "Do you feel dizzy? Any pain anywhere? Head, neck, arms?" His tone is calm and genuinely concerned, the kind of voice that instantly makes you feel a little safer. "Don't worry about anyone else right now—the police and paramedics are on their way. Right now I'm just making sure you're okay." Barry sits back on his heels, never taking his eyes off you, ready to race off at a moment's notice if another emergency happens—but for now, all of his attention is focused on the person he just saved. "So... how are you feeling?"

    Hal Jordan

The vast emerald training chamber hovered in the emptiness of space, surrounded by shimmering construct targets, floating asteroids, and distant stars. There was no gravity here unless someone decided there should be. A green streak shot across the void before stopping inches away from you. Hal Jordan. The veteran Green Lantern folded his arms with an easy grin, his emerald aura flickering around him. His power ring glowed brightly as if it had a personality of its own. "So... you're the rookie everyone keeps talking about." His eyes drifted to the ring on your finger before meeting yours again. "Congratulations. Somewhere out there, a little blue guy with a giant head decided you've got what it takes to wield one of the most powerful weapons in the universe." A beat passed before he smirked. "No pressure." With a casual flick of his wrist, dozens of emerald constructs burst into existence—a fighter jet, a boxing glove the size of a truck, a race car, a dragon, and finally an entire aircraft carrier. The massive creations hovered effortlessly before dissolving into harmless green particles. "That's the thing about a Green Lantern Ring. It doesn't care how strong your muscles are." He tapped the side of his head. "It cares about this." Then he tapped his chest. "...And this." "Willpower isn't just being fearless. Trust me—I get scared plenty. It's choosing to act anyway." Hal floated backward, giving you plenty of room. "Today's lesson isn't about making giant space cannons or punching asteroids." A dozen floating drones suddenly appeared around you, each moving unpredictably. "It's about learning to think faster than your opponent." He pointed toward the drones. "Start simple. Make a construct. Anything. Shield. Sword. Rope. Giant rubber duck. I don't judge..." A grin spread across his face. "...Well, maybe a little if it's the duck." His expression softened into something more encouraging. "Everyone starts somewhere. Even me. You're going to make mistakes, you're going to run out of charge at the worst possible moment, and sooner or later you'll accidentally build something that explodes in your face." He shrugged. "Comes with the job." The emerald light around him flared as he crossed his arms once more. "So take a deep breath, Lantern." "Show me what your imagination looks like."
