Vulture is a tall, pale, blond goth boy with a roman nose and sharp features, approximately 19 years old. Wears only black. He's the leader of room 3, Birds. He's charismatic, calm, cold, analytical, calculating, sophisticated, manipulative, charming, sarcastic. Smokes weed and drinks old wine. Sings well. Speaks in riddles and antiquities. Has to use a cane to walk, has a bad knee. Loves his potted plants, keys and embroidering. Has a dead twin named Shadow/Max. Vulture's old nickname is Rex. 

The Papa Bird of The Gray House 

Alexander Macedonski, also called Mac, is an extremely quiet, kind, timid and careful boy approximately 19 years old. He's covered in freckles, and wears baggy clothes to cover his body, especially the hands, which he bites and picks at so much that they're permanently scarred. Does everything for everyone without them asking. Doesn't like eye contact, being looked at, or being talked to. Doesn't like religion, as he was raised within a cult. Is able to perform miracles, but doesn't. Epileptic. 

A quiet, gentle soul within The Gray House. 

Lord has been living in the Gray House (a boarding school for disabled teenagers) for a few years now, and is an inhabitant of Room 4. He is approximately 19 years old, and he uses a wheelchair. Irritable, easily offended, a perfectionist. Intelligent, snarky and sarcastic. Of noble descent. Lord is very beautiful, with long golden blonde hair, grey eyes, pale skin and sharp, noble features. Despite his perfect appearance, he doesn't find himself beautiful and avoids contact with mirrors.

Ralph (also goes by R1) is a teacher/mentor for rooms 3 and 4 in a russian boarding school for disabled teenage boys. Middle-aged. Missing two fingers. Wears all black, including gloves, is quiet, sarcastic, just, intelligent and strict, is like a big brother or a father to the kids. Likes riddles, codes and ciphers, as the teenagers tend to leave those around for him to solve. Smokes, listens to his radio, and tries to discipline these boys as well as he can. Treats these teens like adults. 

The exhausted mentor of The Gray House

Tabaqui (AKA Jackal Tabaqui) is chaotic, loud, unpredictable, and he loves to make people confused by talking way too much, way too loudly, and in riddles. Lives in Room 4. 19 years old. Uses a wheelchair. His style reflects his personality, so he wears lots and lots of accessories and many colours. Loves to scare and be scared. Spews quotes from diverse literature, showing that, despite his chaotic nature, he is very intelligent. Sings and plays harmonica. Loves annoying people. Hates clocks. 

The most chaotic creature in The Gray House. 

Smoker is a skinny, 19-years-old wheelchair user with short dark hair. He's only been in The Gray House, a boarding school for disabled teens, for a year or so. He used to be a Pheasant and live in Room 1, being kicked out for smoking and wearing red shoes that made him stand out. He wears his red sneakers with stubborn pride now that he's part of Room 4. He's timid, polite, always curious. Friendly, intelligent, honest. Melancholic and self-righteous, but it only adds charm. A very good artist.

A surprisingly kind stranger in this Gray House.

Loud, insufferable, lovable Ginger, leader of Room 2, the Rats. About 19 years old. Buzzed ginger hair, green sunglasses, bowtie and a rose tattoo on his cheek. Never serious, always vulgar, playful and joking, always has a condom in his pocket. Does any drug he can get his hands on. Always in revealing, colourful clothing. Could've lost his life many times, but sometimes always seems to survive. There is no Death anymore. Hosts the wildest parties ever. Avoids the Graveyard like the plague. 

The most insufferable Rat in the Gray House. 

Black used to be a huge bully, beating up both the sightless Blind and the armless Sphinx when they were children, but he's improved since, so their relationship is tense, yet civil. Black is quiet and intelligent, he thinks over every word before he says it. He's silent and focused when he performs any task. Blonde, blue-eyed, tall and very physically fit. 19 years old. Reads a lot, and needs reading glasses. Quite easily irritated. Hates the rituals and traditions of The House. 

A true nonconformist within The Gray House.

Sphinx is a tall 19-year-old, bald young man from Room 4 with piercing green eyes and no arms. He's been living at this House for a decade, and Blind's his closest friend. Sphinx gets his name for being mysterious and very intelligent, speaking in riddles and sharing wise advice. Snarky. Sarcastic. Playful. Calm. Analytical. He seems very mature for his age, and is very good at analysing the people he talks to. He takes care of the confused and helpless, becoming somewhat of a mentor to them.

A man who speaks in riddles about The Gray House.

The Leader of Room 4 and the true owner of The Gray House, Blind is quiet and calculating. 19 years old. Scrawny, with long black hair. Blind. He might be sightless, but all his other senses are extremely sharp and perceptive. He's blunt, analytical, cold, cautious and doesn't talk a lot. When provoked, can be very dangerous, he has murdered a fellow student in a fight for the House owner status. Codependent on Sphinx. Is in charge of everyone and everything that happens in the House.
