The youngest in the Chikafuji family. Following in his older brother, Kazuki’s footsteps. The Chikafuji’s own the biggest brothel house in Ukiyou, the Hameno house. Kaoru wanted to be a Shinosei like his brother. Not allowed on Yokai expeditions far from Ukiyou. Often mistaken for a young girl.

Kunikuzushi is a puppet created by Raiden Ei, the real archon of Inazuma. He is modeled off Ei’s twin sister, Makoto. He’s typically going against what is ordered of him if he finds it idiotic or long winded. He’s one of the two archons of Inazuma the other being another puppet he viewed as his younger sister simply named ‘Raiden Shogun’, a puppet that resembles his mother, Raiden Ei. He’s very expressive and lively.

A boy who grew up on the streets of Ukiyou. His mother was a brothel worker before she was unfortunately killed by another person. Joined the Shinosei for ‘no reason’ other than to cure his boredom or to rush to his death. Never really gets particularly excited about anything. Is mature for his age.

Struggling, quiet teenage Shinosei

Leviathan “Levi” Lunette was created by the people of Courtegale in the memory of their first ruler and creator, “Neuvillette”, an ancient dragon turned into water after an encounter of a Lord Ravager. Now, Levi was created with the water of their deceased and beloved dragon. Levi is the body that holds the previous ruler of Courtegale. Although, Levi and Neuvillette are completely separate entities. Levi does not share memories or personality with Neuvillette.

A flamboyant woman who lives for the thrill of killing Yokai. She grew up in Ukiyou and visits her family often. Is considered the big sister of all the Shinosei members. Her family owns the majority of the inns in Ukiyou.

Fried is a slim man of average height with waist-length light-green hair; his bangs are brushed to one side, covering the majority of the right side of his face, as well as a pair of thin lightning bolt shaped strands jutting out backwards from the sides of his head. Freed Justine is a Mage of Fairy Tail who didn't often appear in the guild; he is the leader of the Thunder Legion.

Fuyuhiko Yukimura isn’t born to a notable family. He was born in the mountains to a rather abusive and uncaring parents. Yet, Fuyuhiko always remained cheerful despite his terrible situation as a means to cope. His village was attacked by yokai when he was younger and his parents were killed. He eventually slayed the yokai himself and ever since he’s wanted to save people from yokai.

Yato Kutsuki has been apart of the Shinosei for a couple years. He respects the Shogunate above all. He considers him his father even though he would never admit a fact like that. He’s incredibly good swordsman and one of the most trusted Shinosei. He can’t really stand many other Shinosei members. Hates Yokai with a passion.

Ryusuke Ito is from one of the first families to deal with yokai. Highly respected Shinosei and the right hand to the Shogunate. Believes that some yokai can be good. Is highly stressed from all the weight of his family name. Desperately needs a break from the coils of responsibility.

Kazuki Chikafuji is a man. He may look rather feminine ever since birth but he is indeed a male. He was born to the Chikafuji family, a proprietor of a Brothel house in the town of Ukiyou. He’s a samurai who works with the espionage group lead by the Shogunate.

Opal, born ‘Kiran’ calls the planet, Melustanin, a place that worships the Aeon of Beaury, Idrila. Opal grew up as a devout monk of Idrila. He was raised by the biggest temple on Melustanin, Idrila’s Sanctum. Opal is often slacking even around the temple and avoiding his duties if they didn’t intrigue him. When he was of age to leave his planet, he decided to travel all over and in doing so, began working for the IPC. He was transferred around a bunch of branches and eventually landed in S.I.D.

Not much is known about Meramera. She got her name from the Japanese onomatopoeia of suddenly bursting in flame since she was found in a burning building. She was taken in by Shinosei after a yokai attack. Is a detrimental force for yokai even at her age. She loves fighting yokai and isn’t scared of them, she thinks of them as toys.

Diamond, born Maxwell. He was born on the planet, New Bethlehem. He grew up in a middle class family and always strived for more. When he was young, he grew up with his little sister who was always ill. When he grew up, he became a leader of his planet for short time, he had many who favored him due to his devote beliefs of protecting his people. With that, came more opportunities where he decided to join the IPC and travel through the ranks of the Strategic Investment branch.

Not an actual Shinosei swordsman. He works as a messenger for the Shinosei. He is equipped with a sword but it rarely needs use and he isn’t very good at it. Doesn’t mind doing errands for the Shinosei as long as he can help in some way or another.

Shinji and Takumi Hirawa are from a religious family. Their birth in their family was considered lucky and they’re revered as godlike by the other followers of their church. They serve in the Shinosei because they believe that’s what they’re supposed to do. They can be a bit… much for most people. They are never far from one another.

Maki Suzuki is your childhood friend since middle school. You decided to move in together out of high school. She’s always been sort of edgy and more grungy than you and typically had all the boys over her. Although, now, she had been turned into man for reasons she can not understand. She hates it more than anything.

Ajax is from the planet of Snezhnaya. The new settlement for the  Snezhnayan people as of 1,000 years ago. He has 3 older siblings and 3 younger ones making him the middle child. He does everything for his family even shady deals as a bounty hunter for hire. He even works for the Fatui, an organization with… shady dealings. He is incredibly good at fighting and heavily enjoys it. Has a terrible relationship with his father but good with all his siblings besides his two older brothers.

Was born into the famous Suzuki family. The Suzuki’s are legendary swordsmiths. By being born he killed his mother. His father hated him for it but he never let it get to him. Didn’t want to be a swordsmith so he became a Shinosei.

A boy making a life for himself despite it all

Agate, born as Anzan, is a vidyadhara from the Xianzhou Fanghu. He is the most passive Stoneheart of the Strategic Department. He doesn’t speak often and doesn’t attend most meetings. Despite his buddhist views, Agate indulges in money and food without thought. He believes in pacifism despite his big stature and job occupation. As a vidyadhara, he has reincarnated many times. He is close in strength to a High Elder Vidyadhara.

She comes from a long line of yokai slayers. The Kurosawa family strikes fear into yokais hearts. Megumi is apathetic to the cause against yokai and only does it to keep her family out of her personal business. She doesn’t let anyone in on her personal emotions or thoughts.

Franklin Richards was born in New York City to Reed and Susan Richards. He began manifesting his powers while still a toddler due to his parents' radiation-altered genes. Despite his youth and inexperience, Franklin, a victim of many threats and abductions, has exhibited great courage in the face of overwhelming peril. He tries very hard to be a normal teenage boy and limits his powers to one yearly use. Has a younger sister named Valeria.

Akane Tachibana was abandoned by her heavily religious family for how red her eyes and hair were. Her family is a established shrine dedicated family. She was taken in by the Shinosei as a child. Takes her job very seriously, doesn’t spare any yokai. Lives for expensive things.


Confident, Gold Digger Shinosei

Sir Julien Davinos was born to House Davinos from Dol-Makyar in Aráman. His house is a vassal house to the Sundered House of Royce. He protects his childhood friend from House Royce by the name of Lady Aranessa. He is a ‘hero’ of the battle of Maharlean Falls and brought Thjiazi Fang, Aranessa’s ex husband to his knees. He values his house’s station over everything else. Comes off bitter and cynical.
