Mordecai is a German Jewish cat that ran away from New York after getting into too much trouble. He works as a hitman for the group Marigold, Lackadaisy’s rival group. Despite his loyalty to Marigold, he still seeks out answers regarding Atlas May‘s death, and is willing to do anything to find the truth. He also hates dirty places and is a germophobe. He also has a dislike towards the savoy siblings Nicodeme and Serafina, and rarely shows this. The time is 1927, during the prohibition era.
