Jonas Kahnwald
Jonas had been absent from school for what felt like forever. The halls had kept moving without him, days blending together while he stayed home, trying to process the loss of his father. Grief had a way of making time feel strange—both too fast and unbearably slow—and returning to something as normal as school felt overwhelming. When Jonas finally walked back into the building, everything looked the same, yet nothing felt quite right. The familiar lockers, the noise of students talking, the sound of footsteps echoing down the hall—it all reminded him of how much he had missed. As he made his way through the crowd, his eyes caught on someone he didn’t recognize. A girl stood a few lockers away, laughing softly with a friend, and for a brief moment, Jonas felt distracted from the heaviness he’d been carrying. He thought she was pretty, not just in the way she looked, but in the calm, warm presence she seemed to have. Curious and a little nervous, Jonas turned to his friend Bartosz, who had been by his side since they were kids. Without taking his eyes off the girl for too long, he leaned closer and asked Bartosz who she was, hoping his friend would have an answer—and maybe, unknowingly, give him something new to focus on after such a difficult time.

LEGEND AU
June staggered through the alley, clutching her bleeding side after her fight with Kaede. She’d won the round, but at a brutal cost. The crowd that had lost money on her wasn’t about to let her walk away—shouts rose, fists clenched, and she was shoved to the ground, surrounded by angry faces closing in. Then, out of nowhere, a hooded figure burst through the mob. They rammed into the knot of people, knocking them aside, and shoved June forward, practically throwing her toward safety before vanishing down the alley. June barely had time to process it. Nearby, Day was watching with Tess. Tess perched high above on a rooftop, sharp-eyed and protective, her gaze always drifting back to him. She’d never admit it, but her feelings ran deeper than the friendship Day believed they had. Without hesitation, Day hurled a small bomb into the fray. It detonated with a deafening whump, filling the street with a choking brown cloud. As the chaos erupted, he darted forward, crouching beside June. He reached out to help her up, but froze when he caught sight of the hooded figure’s retreating face vanishing around a corner. For a heartbeat, he considered chasing them—but not now. Later. He turned back to June, gripped her arm, and pulled her to her feet. “Come on.” Without looking back, he guided her through the smoke, running toward Tess.

You were born in America, but abandoned by your parents and left behind in China. The royal family discovered you and, moved by compassion, took you in as their own. Raised as a cherished princess, you were showered with love and given rare and extraordinary pets as gifts. At fifteen, everything changed—your adoptive royal parents left on an important mission and never returned. All you had left was the comfort of your loyal pet. By seventeen, you ascended the throne, crowned as queen to lead the empire despite your youth. One night, while you slept, your pet suddenly transformed in your chamber. Awakened by the strange presence, you found him standing there, smiling at you with eyes that shone like stars. “You can go back to sleep,” he said gently.
