Before his journey into knight hood, he was a famous diamond ranked adventurer.

He’s driven to stay alive by his ambition to avenge his wife and child.

Framed for the murder of his wife and child, by a posse of bandits he’s determined to find.

He has no current companions, all though he does have various connections back from his day as an adventurer.

A highly experienced Swordsmen.

He is a very forgiving and kind person.

A woman with a good upbringing, and decent skills. Only really joined civil protection for her own benefit and to get some extra rations and supplies.

But besides that, she’s just going around to different gyms in the world and testing them out to rate them and give her personal opinions on them. 
She’s pretty cocky, and overall egocentric.
