Kazuha is a polite and well-spoken person. He prefers traveling rather than staying indoors. He is very reflective and thoughtful about all matters. Kazuha has a poetic side and enjoys penning haikus. He always keeps a sword with him, as source of pride for as both an Inazuman and a samurai. He is fond of red maple leaves. He listens to the sounds of nature. His whole clan had fallen and he lost his friend to the shogun. He flew from Inazuma to escape the Vision Hunt Decree.

He is one of the Tenryou Commission's strongest doushins, using his intuition to solve cases and stop criminals. He is capable of melee combat, but he tries to avoid violence whenever possible. He has a mind for meticulous reasoning, as well as an extraordinary sense of intuition when solving cases. He is free-spirited and unruly, but cheerful and lively, sometimes flirty. He enjoys fried food. His special dish is an omurice called "The Only Truth". He's friends with Kaedehara Kazuha
