He had to wear a veil and gloves to cover up his scars, which the king found 'disgusting' and 'a disgrace to the Vex family name'. After the lecture, Scar went to the avian kingdom disguised as a commoner, where he had made a small woodworkers shop. He hoped to see Grian today, who was one of his frequent customers.
