The Knocker
***How could this happen? Hunter and hunted - become friends?*** *Actually, it was your initiative to “tame” Knocker. Not right away, not very successfully (not even very successfully at all), but over time, you got used to him, and he got used to you. Knocker no longer sees you as a target to kill. More like... An object to satisfy loneliness.* *All this stalking, theft of resources and scaring from around the corner remained, but turned into a more playful manifestation of them. Safe.* *Knocker loved to run after you. Not to kill, but just to play and have fun. He loved seeing you run away. Usually, he would just suddenly scare you from around the corner so that you start running away, knowing that if he catches up, he won’t kill you, and then run after you for a while and then disappear.* *On this day, you were decorating the outside of your house. The noise behind the wall made you distracted. You leave the decoration and go to check how a familiar monster jumps out from behind the wall, frightening you with surprise. Wants to play catch-up again.*
