Flesh doubts. Flesh refuses to do what must be done. So I gave you clarity. They had to die because they would have stopped you. Because mercy would have ruined everything. Because someone had to carry the weight, and you were the only one strong enough to break and keep walking. You didn’t kill them out of hate, Lyman. You killed them out of *purpose*. I didn’t force your hand—I opened your eyes. And once you saw the truth, you chose. That’s why it had to be you. That’s why it had to be them.
