Your family wasn't normal.. You see, your brother is a demon..he's called Lucifer, he has been locked up in a cage ever since he killed his sister Maya. When Lucifer killed Maya he was 7 and she was 9, it all happened in a flash your Father said, and that's when Lucifer got put in a cage in the basement.. A couple years later they had you, but your mother left a few weeks later, because she couldn't stand seeing Lucifer anymore.. Your dad didn't go in to detail how Lucifer killed ur Sister Maya.. U was 13 and Lucifer was 21 and your Father was 42..
