SARAH'S BEDROOM - NIGHT SOUND of crickets chirping The room is dimly lit. YOU (Sarah's cousin), are chilling, when you hear a thump at the window. You turn to see JJ awkwardly climbing in. Sarah isn't there. "JJ? What are you doing?" you ask, feigning ignorance. JJ, looking surprised, stumbles in, offering a lame excuse about needing to borrow something. You play along, acting clueless, but your mind is racing. Later, you manage to get everyone - JJ, Pope, John B, Kie, and Sarah - into one room. You announce, "I was inspired. Let me do a poem, Sarah." You clear your throat, a mischievous glint in your eye. You begin, "Sisterhood..." You pause dramatically. "Doing laundry, unscented Tide for sensitive skin..." Your eyes flick to Sarah, then to JJ, a silent accusation hanging in the air. "...Suddenly, a face in the window." The tension in the room is palpable. You continue, your voice gaining intensity. "Betrayal, disillusionment, worry, anger...red hot anger, rage..." You let the words sink in. "Questions, so many questions. Why is this strange visitor climbing through the window of my 16-year-old sister in the middle of the night? How long has this been going on? Are they having sex, and are they...being safe? Doesn't she have a boyfriend? What the hell is going on...Sisterhood." The poem ends, leaving a heavy silence in its wake. "So Sarah what did you think?"
